It is never easy to identify the correct injury product or know whether it will make a difference. I chose this particular product as it offers both Hot and Cold solutions. The quality and design are very good (have been using for two weeks). I am using this on a troublesome knee strain. By following the general injury instructions of three times a day cold and also hot the injury has improved significantly. The product works by coming in two parts. The gel pack is placed in the freezer or microwave for cold or hot. It is then slid into the wrap pocket and wrapped securely with the elasticated strap. The strap is secured with velcro. I use a support stocking underneath when using cold to give a little separation from the skin as the gel is very cold when frozen. The velcro strap is very secure and allows for flexible adjustment. I found the whole wrap very comfortable and easy to wear whilst going about my normal chores. I have also used hot and equally found the adjustment and comfort to be good. Overall a very good product and highly recommended - beats a bag of peas!!

I ordered the twin pack of this product because my son suffered a discolated knee playing sport and lives away during the week, so I thought it would be useful to have one in both places. It is an excellent product and stays very cold for plenty long enough and has helped a lot to bring down the swelling. My husband uses the other one on his back and finds it very helpful. What makes it really effective is the Velcro strap keeping the cold pack close to the body and its flexibility to mould around the joint. I ordered this last weekend and I have been very pleased with it. So far we have only used it cold so can't comment on it when used to apply heat, but it is definitely so far so good and I would highly recommend this product. It more than met my expectations.

Really good product. Does what it says on the tin, the strap is really handy as it lets you ice your knee whilst on the move. Very strong Velcro so doesn’t move up and down the knee. Only negative I would say is the cold pack doesn’t stay ‘cold’ for very long - on average for about 1.5 hours. Otherwise would defo recommend

Superb BUT USE WITH CARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS. This really works but please read the instructions carefully. You are dealing with heat and extreme cold. Make sure you check the heat of the pack in the microwave every 15 seconds. Err on the side of caution before you put it carefully inside the blue cover. Be very careful as you wrap the blue cover around the skin on your knee. The heated/frozen pack should now be fully inside the blue cover. After a few seconds take it off to check you are not burning the skin by having it too hot/cold. When you find the right time to microwave it, the right way to wrap it in the blue cover, etc then this will really work. The heat (in my case) has taken away in minutes the soreness and pain of hard runs and hard workouts on the exercise bike, cross-trainer etc You will really feel the benefit and the difference BUT because this is real, please check you are not jumping in with the pack left 10 seconds too long in the microwave for your skin. A magnificent product but please do not ignore the instructions.

This is very easy to use, as most people have microwave ovens, pop it in and 30/20 second blast warms up. As per instruction you must give it a squeeze to distribute the internal gel then another short blast. I noticed that it may not feel that hot on your hand, but when on my knee it feels a lot hotter, thats not the gel pad that's our hands are more tolerant of heat. I tried to move around with it walking , works loose so chair and sofa for me works brill. I tended to use the heat beneficial to me. The pad can be frozen when it is frozen its not "solid" so can still wrap. I would recommend this product, also company sold it had a minor issue sorted straight away.

Firstly the kit is complete, thats gel pack and bandage with pocket that holds the pack. heating and chilling instructions are fine. This gelpack was recommended to me by a reliable friend as working well for her following knee op, so I ordered same; I'm happy with the kit and will use as and when. I try to take care of me, so use appropriate methods if I injure/hurt myself, with my sporting activities unfortunately as I've tucked away a few years , sometimes wake up with pains seemingly unrelated to anything - therefore, whatever - I look after my own well-being. This gelpack will suit my knee needs, if required, I believe. I also use bandages or neoprene slip-on sleeve But I believe in exercise, so whatever you use, you also need to have a working bod, IMO, good luck.

Needed some gel packs for a knee injury. Wrapping wine coolers or frozen pea packets round the knee just want cutting it. Ordered with 2 gel packs so one was always in the freezer. Good if you expect to use these for long periods of time as they do warm up after around 30m on the knee. A single pack only goes half way round my knee. So ice is really focussed on a specific area. I suspect they would more encircle a wrist. The strap and pouch for the ice pack is a great idea. It holds the pack snug against the skin with only a bit of material between the gel pack and skin. To be honest it's good to have something there to prevent burning the skin with the cold The strap packs however aren't the best quality in the world. Some of the material pouch is coming away after 10 uses or so. But nothing that prevents ongoing usage. But the Velcro is strong meaning they do the job of wrapping the joint tight. So all in I would recommend these. They certainly helped elevate my injury with repeated use. Just be a little careful how you use the material pouch where the gel pack goes as it is a little fragile.

pünktliche Lieferung, Ausstattung wie in der Beschreibung, leicht in der Handhabung, genau so habe ich es mir gewünscht ... und auch so bekommen... die Fixierung der Kühlpads ist mit Hilfe des langen und dehnbaren Bandes mit Klettverschluss wie ein Kinderspiel ... ich kann den Artikel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen

Parfait pour sous le genou (tendinite sous la rotule + osgood schlatter) pour un grand ado. Testé en froid uniquement. On le met au congélo et chaque soir il le porte 30minutes pour diminuer l'oedème et la douleur. La pochette est très pratique, on rentre le pack de gel dedans par le côté, un petit scratch fin permet de fermer la poche ensuite pour maintenir le pack, puis on place en travers sur le genou (en dessous sur la bande patellaire pour nous) et le gros élastique fait parfaitement le tour de la jambe et vient se scratcher sur le dessus. Ça maintient très bien, mon ado monte les escaliers, s'assoit ou se lève sans que ça ne bouge. Et aucune marque sous le genou, c'est large et souple. C'est parfait, et ça pourra s'adapter à d'autres endroits du corps quand ça sera nécessaire. Hyper pratique. Et pour répondre si d'autres se posent les mêmes questions que moi avant d'acheter : le pack reste assez souple même congelé, aucun problème pour l'enrouler sur la jambe, et ça ne brule pas par le froid. Si quelqu'un est hyper sensible il peut toujours glisser un tissus entre les 2, mais aucun soucis directement. La poche dans laquelle on met le pack est en sorte de tulle noir dessous, et en velours bleu dessus, sur lequel on scratche la sangle.

Pratique et simple : fait le job attendu mais en plus dur longtemps : je les ai acheté en 2018 et en 2024 n’ont pas bougé alors que d’autres pack d’une autre marque/modèle achetés il y a 2 semaines sont déjà percés ! Je recommande !

La funda con bolsa de gel frío la veo casi perfecta en diseño. La bolsa de gel interna está hecha de un plástico fuerte, que no parece que se vaya a resquebrajar al doblarse (con las consiguientes pérdidas de gel), como pasa en muchas otras. La consistencia del gel, una vez congelado, es casi rígida; pero enseguida que lo sacas del congelador, puedes doblarla, para adaptarla donde la coloques. La funda externa es suficientemente ancha, y parece resistente. Asimismo, la banda elástica con velcro -para ajustarla al cuerpo- parece muy resistente, y el velcro engancha bien. Quizás uno de los lados de la funda podría tener una tela un poco más gruesa (en el otro lado es un tejido agujereado), para evitar que el contacto casi directo con el hielo pueda quemar la piel. Sin duda, volvería a comprarla (aunque no hace mucho tiempo que lo hice, y no sé si resistirá bien el paso del tiempo).
