This stuff is amazing and its not overly expensive either. I set up a new tank with plant substrate, sand and gravel and as a result, the water was extremely murky and cloudy with sediment. I used filter floss and Accu-clear ad within 3 hours my tank water was crystal clear. As I haven't got any fish in my tank yet I can't comment on how it affects them but hopefully it'll be ok and I'll be able to comment on that later.

After syphoning up the "gunk" off the bottom of the tank and scrubbing the algae off the glass the remaining water can be a bit like soup and probably not pleasant for the fishy residents. I don't like to think the suspended junk will just settle again so tried this (as directed on the label). Turns the water an amber colour but within an hour or so the water was crystal clear and after a further hour the coloration had faded. Depending on how long the mechanical filter has been in your filter kit you may need to remove and change it (or rinse it) as I found the flow rate of my Fluval G6 dropped - on removing the mechanical filter there was more gunk in it than I've seen before so the Accu-Clear certainly did what it says on the tin!!

It works very well. I have used it twice on my tank as directed on the bottle. Both times gave a similar result. Takes about 12 hours to work. I did have a baby frog in my tank which died 2 days after I used this. I'm not sure if it was due to adding this as the frog was new to the tank and everything else has been totally fine, so maybe don't use it if you have a frog just in case.

I use this when re-scaping planted tank - it really helps to clear up the murky water caused by disturbing substrate.

before using this my fish tank was so cloudy it looked like someone had poured a carton of milk into my tank you could not see anything so i bought this and i put half a cap full into my tank a couple hours ago and already my water is crystal clear! i have never ever seen my fish tank water so clear it’s amazing stuff definitely worth the money. i wasn’t so keen on putting chemicals in my fish tank but my fish are still healthy and fine so i can say it’s safe to use and wk t kill your fish 10/10

ok. on reading the instructions, i found that, you put 1ml in 10gallon ,so unless you have a 10 gallon fish tank in your home its no good!

The first 2 days after putting it in our 35 hex, it was cloudy as heck. But then we woke up to the clearest tank ever. I changed the filter, which was new when we put in the clarifier, and it was filthy! I guess it did a great job!

Wow!! Super impressed!!! Water is amazingly clear!!!! I thought this would be a scam but it actually works and works well!!! It did not kill any of my fish either. Highly recommend!
