Epicurean PREP Board I Nutmeg 370x275x6mm (71103)

I love the size, weight, dimensions and colour of this chopping board. So far, the quality appears excellent and robust and it’s very easy to clean. I’ve had no problem with it slipping, and I don’t see any marks from my knives on it. The sound my knives make when using it is a bit different and louder than on my usual wooden boards, but that’s not a problem at all. I like the fact that it’s light weight makes it easy for me to lift from its storage place for ease of use. I had never heard of cutting boards made from FSC accredited, sustainably sourced paper and wood chip fibres until I read about it in an article reviewing non-toxic chopping boards. Because it’s non-porous, it should remain hygienic and last a long time. So far, I’m very happy that I made this choice.

The size is just right. Nice material and design!

Bit on the pricey side but is fantastic and dishwasher safe. Good if you want to completely avoid microplastics

I like these chopping boards, I have 4 currently. This is my favourite size for doing a decent but regular amount of chopping. Best of all it can be machine-washed! And isn't plastic! Yes they scar easily, but that's what it's there for - so I don't scar my countertop instead. I didn't buy it as a decorative piece. The scarring is also much less when chopping; mainly occurs when drawing a knife through something - I wouldn't use a serrated bread knife on these, I think you probably would just cut through them before long.

Bought this as my friend has had one for 20 years but this isn’t the same quality although the same make and is heavily scratched after just a couple of weeks.

Excellent board, we know from a previous smaller board it will last forever, unlikely the plastic/nylon boards from Joseph Joseph that we have binned.

Stabile Qualität und einfach zu reinigen. Wir haben den ersten schon seit 6-7 Jahren im Einsatz, es muss je nach Bedarf 1x/Jahr mit schleifpapier geschliffen und mit normalen Sonnenblumen öl, geölt werden, dann hält es auch lange. Bin ein Fan.
