Rolson 60807 450 x 300 mm A3 Cutting Mat

Have been using this for a few months now and it has stood up very well. Will not need to buy another for a long time.

This was a reorder... of an item I've used now for well over a year. This listing has the same model pictured ( advertising the cutting mat of the last purchase ) but on arrival, it's very different. I use this particular mat as a 'desk saver' rather than a separate 'cutting mat only' tool. It has three layers, one centre 'white' piece and two backing 'green' layers. It holds up well ( *though not as an everyday cutting mat ) to sporadic cutting, but can also take a cup of 'hot' coffee and not warp. ( Many expensive 'quality' cutting mats will warp at just the sight of a coffee cup nearing it ) This new replacement version is just one ( not layered ) piece of thick rubber/vinyl. So Rolson are either cutting costs, or it's a cheap knock off copy. The original mat has subtle 'white lines' which are actually a light blue colour. The new mat is criss-crossed with bright white guides. I suppose Amazon just haven't updated their advertising piccy. Although you should know that the quality has sustainably dipped, as well as the price.

Very useful addition to any modeller or handicraft person's bench.

Brilliant board but I asked for grey and was sent green.

It's good quality and does what it was purchased to do.

I have only used it once only time will tell how it fairs but it worked well enough.
