Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World

Great book for younge children, and older, can find out key bits of information in an easy way, and has a great range of great women! Use it in school 7 year olds as a book in provision time, and the children love finding out about important women.

Amazing find, my daughters are really in the process of analysing themselves at the moment. It's great for them to read stories of women who have really had some inspiring stories or really and to fight time get to where they needed to be. Nice to just learn a bit of history or general interest/read. Children loved the book and the illustrations etc. Very informative.

I bought this to lend to one of the children in my class who is a strong young girl with big ideas - I thought it would inspire her and make her think which it definitely did! Now all of the children in the class have passed it around and read it too, and we have had some amazing discussions around the women from the book. The children are full of admiration and have asked so many questions based on the information. As a book, it is beautifully presented and is broken down into easy to read chunks with lovely illustrations. I loved reading it too!

Lovely book and educational. Quite thin but I didn’t read the page length info. Nice colours and illustrations to make learning more fun!

I bought 4 of these as a birthday gift for my 9yr old niece and they didn’t disappoint. I think the reading age given is a little low as there is a lot of information on each page and I can see a little one of around 6yrs loosing interest easily but would still be great to have to read to them in segments. All the books are produced with great quality paper and worth the price! (Also as they were a gift I was SO relieved that they arrived without the dreaded Amazon sticker stuck on to them😅).

Got this for a child in the family, who seemed to like the gift (paired with something else), and she flicked through it with me. She was surprised the story was about real people and real things and was still getting her head around that as all her other stories are made up, but the drawings and layouts are amazing! I hope she gives it a read with her parents, and I plan to get a few more. I love the price too, it's easy and accessable for me to get them all. Plan on an activity version next time.

Bought as a gift for a five year old girl. This should set her off on the right path in life! Inspiring stories of famous women who have made history, told along with plenty of colourful illustrations. I'm hoping that the recipient will see there's more to life than posing with a pouty face! The writing might be a bit advanced for some younger children, but with all the pictures it can still be fun to read along with someone older to help.
