Excellent Selection of Wool for a young beginner
This knitting yard set was bought as part of a first knitting set for a 7-year old. At the end of a long Christmas Day they were engrossed in learning to knit a striped blanket (with help from me) using each of the different colours for each row.

They're not 50g
Checked the weight of each ball as it seemed smaller than 50g balls I had previously bought. These are 45g, so over 12 balls this is 60g short. Disappointing!

As described
Exactly as described. Perfect for a child who has started crocheting.

Absolute junk
I didn’t have stellar expectations from this but it was just plain awful, had to refund. The hooks are unusable; the heads are so thick and with such a shallow, malformed notch it’s like trying to use a drumstick. And the yarn (labelled “hand made”, because third shift tat) is so slippy and nasty it frays like crazy. DK in case anyone’s wondering.
