Q: Does this brush anti static to use on dry hair throughout the day? My hair is very static all day. So would it work for my needs without a blow-dry?

Dear Customer, Avoid brushing on dry hair, as this weakens them. Do it always after shampooing, on wet but well-drained hair, after rinsing it with cold water to close the scales. Haven't experienced that at all, no. I think it is all one piece of metal, the barrel and handle.
