Pleasently surprised
I've been trying to find a decent long lasting dog frisbee for ages after stopping buying KONG frisbies after the last few lasted a couple of weeks and in one case split on the first day out and cost £15, KONG frisbies used to last a good 6 months.I've also had a couple Hyperflite Jawz which are pretty good but cost £25 and still don't last that long for the cost. Also had a PETGEEK SKIPDAWG (£13) I won't be buying one of those again. Then there's the Star Mark Easy Glider Durafoam disc which I've had in both large (£20) and Small (£13) the large one lasted longer, 2 months for the small and 3 the large. but after about maybe 1.5 months they're really starting to degrade and the middle section is starting to split from the outer part. Once they get to this stage its game over.Trixie Dog lasted surprisingly long for a budget frisbee (£5.50) but ends up curling and don't really fly that well.So when I saw this Planet Dog frisbee for £7 I thought what the hell but didn't really hold much hope. It arrived and I thought the outer rubber part is going to split in no time, it seemed quite soft and the harder inner part is going to separate from the outer part. Well I'm pleased to say I was wrong, we've been playing with the frisbee more or less every since November 2023 and we're now well into February 2024 with only minor wear. It's not a perfect frisbee, when it's wet it can be quite slippy and will slide from my hand when throwing, but it's got good weight and can fly really well. And my dog loves it, well tbh my dog loves any frisbee she's a frisbee ninja, but I'm loving it as it's durable and affordable. Also to add, my dog a Labrador is not a chewy dog but will give the frisbee a good shake as she's running back to me and she does like to just carry it for parts of the walk also.

Dog frisbee
This is great, Skye loves toys! Her favourites being stuck and lid.She will play and play with a sweet tub lid.The frisbee, reminds me of the heavy duty plastic one I had as a kid. The outer edge however is a rubber so it doesn't hurt her gums. It's a good size for a Collie and a good weight for throwing and fetching. She doesn't really chew it, more an excited clapping motion of her jaws, which with the lid being thin it gets between her teeth.

Difficult to get a decent glow
The frisbee seems very robust and he loves it. But I can't get much glow out of the rim, even using a 250,000 lumen torch, and unlike glow balls, you have to spend ages with the torch all around the rim. I've tried leaving it in an uplighter, but that seemed to do nothing after several hours in it. So not really a toy for the park in the dark.

Not a great product
I had high hopes for this, as my dog loves a frisbee, but in the dark mornings We spend a lot of time looking for our normal toy. However, this product is not the solution. Is manufactured as a composite between glow in the dark dark material and a hard plastic centre, unfortunately the two materials are quite different in terms of their flexibility and density. This has effective making the frisbee almost impossible to throw. In addition if the frisbee gets wet either from grass or saliva, the glow in the dark edge becomes very slippy making it even even more difficult to throw. The product could be improved by adding texture to the glow in the dark portion, and then reducing the weight of the central section. However in its current form in my experience it’s very disappointing.
