I love these skates and paid a fraction of the cost for new CCM or Bauer skates. I tried them straight outta the box and determined they needed to be sharpened. I walked into the pro shop and 20 minutes later was carving up the ice as fast as I could handle. I'm 65 and they are stable under foot and work perfectly and a big bonus is they are more comfortable than my previous Bauers and CCM's from the old days. They are easy to lace up and provide good ankle support. Be sure to buy a pair of blade guards to go with them. So glad I made this purchase. Now I'm taking our grand kids ice skating, in TEXAS!!!

The skates feel great and look nice. Have skated on them 3 times so far with no complaints. Best bang for your buck.

I ordered a size 9 hockey skate size because the writeup said this was size 10.5 US. However the skate said the 9D skate size is size 9US, 8UK, and EU 42. Fortunately I was able to use them.

I am a beginner skater, and I have a narrow foot. These skates seem very nicely made and are fairly sturdy. They are a bit too large for my foot - I ordered based on the size chart but was between sizes and guessed that I would want extra room for thick socks. I think the smaller of the two sizes would have been a better fit for me.

Are sharp and work nice

The size is not fit for the skater chat to narrow.

Bought these as I was hiring boots to go skating with my daughter and the boot hire was a bit of a lottery whether you got a good pair of boots or not. I wanted my own to have a better experience but not to play high intensity ice sports etc. Chose these as an entry level pair. Unfortunately the right hand skate blade was not true and I found out the hard way by taking a really bad fall. Would not recommend these - you get what you pay for and I am now looking into a more expensive pair. This spoilt my Father daughter experience and so very disappointed. Sorry.
