Pine Bros. Pine Bros Gummy Sore Throat Softish Drops 30 Count (Honey)

I was nostalgic and remembered these from my youth when you could get them in store. They taste and work just the same. I don’t enjoy menthol or medicine tasting cough drops. These and the cherry flavor are great. I just wish they weren’t so expensive. I’d buy they more often!

Pine Brothers little cough drops are great. They soothe your throat, last long and taste good too. I prefer these over other drops 100 %.

As a kid in the 70's, on a kid's budget, I could go to my local candy store and buy a box of Pine Bros. Cough Drops in honey or wild cherry. Honey is still my favorite, though. I can't find these Pine Bros. Gummy Sore Throat Softish Drops 30 Count (Honey) near me, so I buy them on Amazon. I have always liked the way the shape of the soft drop feels in my mouth and how the glycerin feels as it coats my throat, whenever I need the coating. I love that these gummies have sugar and honey, which they may list as "inactive" ingredients, but which make the Pine Bros. honey flavor so satisfying. I don't like that so many other companies' drops have fake sugar, but I understand that sugar and honey are not for everyone. My only gripe with these honey Pine Bros. Gummy Sore Throat Softish Drops is the price, which is why I took away a star. I can't imagine my younger self spending this much money for 30 drops, but the quality and flavor will keep me coming back.

Soothing, long-lasting

Some were stuck together in a clump inside the pouch it comes in. I won’t buy these again because, they are Not the same taste as from what I remember cherry Pine Brothers Cough drops tasted like many years ago, when I was a kid. Years ago, they had more of a cherry taste. Today, these had less of a cherry taste and more of something like a honey and hint of molasses taste, to me. I won’t buy these again. I’m spending more money and buying the Swiss-made Grethers, which come in a tin. And taste a whole lot better, and really help my voice/throat since I have to talk when I’m at work. A lot of talking, so I really recommend the other brand I mentioned, not these Pine Brothers Cough drops. I do not recommend these for two reasons—they arrived clumped together in the pouch, and I did not care for the taste . I did keep them and use them, b/c I did not want to bother with a return. I was happy when I finished them, not happy with them…LOL. If you are able to, try the other brand I mentioned because I believe the quality and ingredients are better with the Swiss-made product. To be clear-I cannot recommend the Pine Brothers Cough drops. Sorry, Pine Brothers. I loved you when I was a kid.

I got these for my mom who used to eat them like candy when she was little. They are a very tough gummy that is ideal for long chews to break it down. There isn’t any funky medicine flavor, and they taste really good. I love these for a throat drop!
