Perfect learning tool
I found these magnetic words really useful. Being able to move the words around allows simple little sentences to be formed, and has helped my child recognise words thus improving their reading.

Useful
Small but good enough. Easy to put on and take off. Good for 4 year old phonics learning

Good but small in size
They are good but the size is small. I'd say make them a bit large and may be charge more. The quality is good and easy to use.

GReat learning tool
I have to think of new ways to motivate my son to read more. He has ADD so his attentions is not that good compaired to the average child. I got them for my 6 year old and he loved just being able to slit the words from the pack and read them as he puts them on the fridge. He then spent sometime forming sentences with the words then reading them out. I love this as I can think of many games that I can play with him to allow him to basically practise reading the words and have more confidence with them. Games like... choose a word and keep it if you get it right. Sort out 10 words in alphabetical order and get a point. Sort the days of the month in the correct order. (This could be in the other packs as I ordered pack 1,2 & 3) How many words can you read in 1 min. You can buy magnetic paint from a few DIY shops to paint on your wall and these letter stick well to this! You can also get magnetic paint with blackboard to allow you to have the magnetic and black board to write with chalk. Paint one wall in their bedroom and educational fun for writing, reading and art for ever!!! I may consider buying more of these so that he can have them also upstairs in his bedroom for his magnetic blackboard painted bedroom wall.

I think these are really good and teaches kids to spell, read and write.really enjoy doing this with the kids as my two, four and six year old like them just as much.my six year knows them well as he can spell, write and read so it really was helpful to him as he just went through it as it was nothing.as for my four year he is also getting there and I am well pleased.my two year old he is really trying and I much say good on him because he want so much to follow is brothers.but another good buy.

Magnetic words
Fantastic product! I have the first 4 sets and my little daughter, who is only 41/2, knows most of them and needed the next set. She absolutely loves them and loves learning new words every day! Great service, they arrived a few days after ordering. These words are fantastic for little ones learning to read, they make it really fun and being magnetic they stick on the fridge or magnetic board.

Poorly thought out word choices
Good magnets but the words you’re given aren’t really useful for making interesting sentences. Also there’s an “if” but not enough modal words to make proper if statements, I’m also looking for more pronouns to actually use as subjects! What’s the point? Not as a vocabulary list but something to MAKE SENTENCES WITH.

Useful for helping Year One reading
I already had the Reception words pack from the same series - this pack doesn't contain the 45 most common words that kids are supposed to be able to sight-read by the end of Reception. I would recommend buying that pack first then buy this pack once your child can read those ones confidently. I bought this pack for my son as he went into Year One, and it's very useful in helping him practise the words he'll need to be able to sight-read next. I keep all the packs in a biscuit tin with a big square lid, so that he can use the lid as the 'magnetic board' when he's sentence building with them. The words themselves are small, so it's not a suitable present for very young children.
