These scissors are sharp. That may seem like a given but not all scissors are equal. I am only using these for cutting fabric. They cut a clean accurate path without drag. Yes they are expensive but having used them I think they are good value for the price. They are well made and comfortable to use right handed. The nut has a hex fitting so can be adjusted if they become loose with use / wear.

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of item. This was very slow to be delivered when compared to all the other “prime” delivery items. There has been no explanation. Delivered in a plastic blister pack by which you will need suitable scissors or a sharp knife to open. The scissors are held to card by cable ties. ( unnecessary and annoying.) The finger holes suit left or right and made of a smooth moulded plastic which is comfortable to hold The metal is a hardened steel and VERY sharp. There is a sheath to enclose the scissors when not in use. They are very sharp and I strongly advise using it. The scissors ARE, as I have said, very sharp and have cut everything that I have used them on with ease. Paper, thick hard, meats, bone and heavy duty latex rubber. Overall, I have bought five (5) different pairs during this last week and only this pair suits my needs. The other Fiscars brand scissors were good, the remainder were useless. Ultimately, a little more expense but well worth paying the small difference.

Nice and sharp and easy to operate so far - only had them a week. Time will tell if and when they lose their edge and/or fall apart.

Nachdem ich mich Jahrelang mit einer billigen Schere vom Discounter herumgeschlagen habe, habe ich mir jetzt aufgrund guter Erfahrungen mit Messern des Herstellers diese Schere bestellt. Die Schere liegt durch die ergonomische Form sehr gut in der Hand und schneidet auch schwere Stoffe und andere hartnäckige Materialien problemlos, an denen die vorherige gescheitert ist. Ein weiteres Beispiel, dass es sich manchmal lohnt etwas mehr Geld in die Hand zu nehmen, ich würde die Schere jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann sie absolut weiterempfehlen.
