Having suffered from cold sores as far back as I can remember, I was desperate to find something that actually worked at keeping them at bay. I already had a particularly huge cold sore on my lip so I started to take them straight away (twice a day) and my first impression was that it did seem to heal much quicker than usual. I stupidly then stopped taking them and unsurprisingly a month later I felt that dreaded tingle on my lip and instantly reached for my bottle of L-Lysine! Wow. My cold sore was reduced to a tiny spot on my lip that disappeared within two days, when usually my cold sores are large, very sore and stick around for 4 whole weeks! From now on I will be making sure I take these every day to prevent them and so far it’s been working. I’ve also had no nasty side effects with taking them.

I have bought them for my partner after reading the positive reviews about helping reduce the outbreaks of cold sores (herpes simplex). While he has not ever suffered with cold sores, he has been suffering with sores, mouth ulcers, inside of his mouth, especially after visiting the dentist, or when having the cold etc. As the mouth ulcers may be somehow related..to herpes virus, he has started to taken L-Lysine Capsules and definitely has seen the improvement in the frequency of the outbreaks. Not sure if it is the positive "faith" in cure, or the products really helps. We would personally recommend to anybody with similar problems to give it a try! When I have made the second order of the supply of L-Lysine I have accidentally ordered, by mistake as I am not a native English speaker caplets/tablets, instead of capsules. The caplets/tablets looks harder to swallow, we prefer the capsules, even slightly more expensive.

I like these as they are capsules and easy to swallow. Find the tablet form too hard to take . Good value

I don’t make a habit of writing reviews. I felt I had to come on and review this product. It has been a game changer in my life. I have always suffered with cold sores. Since the required wearing of face masks due to the pandemic - I have been severely afflicted with back to back cold sores (even with extra hygiene and mask changing). I had 4 back to back (and they were monsters!) I have had none since taking these twice a day. As I said game changer. I find them easy to swallow. I am vegan, so it’s nice to see the simple ingredients. Try this for cold sores, you won’t regret it.

Heard these greatly reduce or eliminate hangovers so loaded up on them for a week prior to a staff night out, proceeded to drink an excessive amount of alcohol and had one of the worst hangovers ever. They did not help so threw them away.

You can always rely on Sokgar to put a minimum of crap in their products! I have a metabolic disease and developed multiple allergies. I can rarely take medications which nearly always have sulfites, sulfate, corn or lactose in. Then there are all the chemicals they add as preservatives, e numbers to colour the shells, coatings, anti-caking agents and so on. I search many products but have come to look first at Solgar as I know the rubbish won't be put in. Too early to tell if the supplement is working for sure but I have multiple products from them and have always found good quality and good prices too. I think this company is a real force for good and I would have died without their products as I fight to recover from hypoproteinemic issues (extremely low protein). I'm basically dying of malnutrition cos I can't metabolise stuff. But Solgar has given me ways to replace these key nutrients, vitamins, minerals, proteins etc, without consuming stuff that would harm me

After feeling the 'tingle' in a big way I panic-bought these hoping they'd make a difference to the healing time. I've just had my first baby so the thought of not being able to kiss her for around a month was really upsetting. Sure enough I broke out in 4 cold sores all overlapping one another and spreading up to my nose :( when the jar arrived I took two three times a day, plus treated the sores with Zovirax and witch hazel. They've cleared up quicker than I've ever seen, I reckon they'll be gone in a week and a half total, despite being such a huge breakout. I've now ordered 3 more bottles and am going to start taking 1 a day to keep them at bay.

Usavo anni fa un altro tipo di Lisina venduta su siti per integratori sport. Questa è veramente di ottima qualità, mi ha salvato riducendo di moltissimo i fastidi dovuti all'herpes (3 cpr al dì distanziate e a stomaco vuoto) e facendolo passare molto prima del previsto, durante un'inaspettata recidiva dopo anni che non ne avevo più sofferto. Funziona benissimo contro herpes genitale, oltre che labiale. Mai più senza, vista la scarsità/assenza di rimedi presenti sul mercato farmaceutico.

Don't buy, buy another one anyone. There is no effect it is useless there is no medicinal properties. Waste of time waste of money.

Sufría mucho de herpes y gracias a este suplemento ya no me sale nunca. Estoy muy contento ya que mi salud ha mejorado y no tengo que estar con engorrosas pomadas o medicamentos para el herpes. 100% lo recomiendo.
