My First Scooter

This is a brilliant little scooter and very quickly and easily adaptable as your child grows and gains confidence. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The scooter is packaged neatly in a box with all the tools that you need to put it together. There are two allen keys and a double ended spanner in the 'tool box'. You get two full length axles for double-wheeling as well as two shorter axles for single wheeling. There are two larger wheels and two smaller wheels that can be placed either at the front or the back. ADAPTABILITY: It is suggested to use the two large wheels at the front and the two smaller wheels at the back to begin with. My two and a half year old is fairly good at balancing already so it's quite likely that he'll quickly move on to Stage 2. Once your child is ready to move onto three wheels the great thing about this scooter is that you can either have two wheels at the front and one at the back or vice-versa. Then, when your little one is ready you can go to Stage 3 and either use a big wheel at the front and back or mix the wheels in whatever configuration you're happy with. SAFETY: The scooter is solidly built and the footplate has a rough surface to stop shoes/boots from slipping off if it gets wet. Naturally a helmet is recommended too and there are plenty available on Amazon at reasonable prices. We chose a Thomas and Friends helmet from an Amazon Marketplace seller which cost about £11. PORTABILITY: The scooter is held together with a toggle bolt, which is very secure. If you unscrew this you can fold the scooter in half and tuck it away under your arm or in the boot of your car if you're going off to the park. SUMMARY: This scooter is great fun it's a perfect 'First Scooter', which will last for ages. I'm under the impression that this is a fairly generic design as we looked at an identical one in a large toy retailer (the one with the giraffe!) and it was £20. At £12 (as at 17/5/16) this is an absolute bargain. Highly recommended. Terrific quality, speedy delivery and amazing value. There is so much more in the box than I expected. Wheels and tools to adapt the scooter from a four wheeled version for toddlers to a 3- or 2-wheeled version for a growing child. Non slip foot plate. Sturdy metal frame with bright coloured plastic handles and wheels to appeal to little ones. Assembly is easy - all the tools are included. This scooter is the one to beat.

Bought for my 3 year old son's birthday and it's perfect for him. Pretty straightforward to put together and looks to be fairly sturdy (though only a week in yet so time will tell!). My son loves it and it is a good size for him (he is of average height) though my 5 year old daughter got on and her foot was more or less the size of the foot hold but if he gets a couple of years from it I'll be happy. Love the fact that you can change the number of wheels as their confidence and balance improves. We have started my son off on 3 wheels which he seems to manage ok with and gradually getting faster. The only downside, and it is a very slight downside, is that the plastic the wheels are made from seems to mark and scratch very easily. When I compare to my daughter's scooter which she has had for two years, the wheels look almost as worn in as hers. However, as they are not wheels that require inflating I don't think this will impact upon the performance of scooter. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and feel it was great value.

I got this for my very young toddler and it’s a really wonderful product. It also looks even better than in the pictures, which was an unexpected plus. Pros: Perfect as first scooter – my 16-month-old started riding it on her own within days and loves it. The 4-3-2 wheels option is crafty, as we’ll use this scooter for many years. It can be folded, therefore easy to take along anywhere and easy to store. Light, sturdy (metal frame) and wheels work very smoothly. Straightforward to set up once you’ve figured out the pieces, although parts of the instructions could be clearer. Cons: Handle bar height cannot be adjusted. The foot space is indeed small (I’m a UK size 5 and my foot does not fit on it without touching the rear wheel), but as a first scooter it shouldn’t be an issue. No brakes. As a huge plus, seller's customer service is beyond amazing. I had an issue with a couple of pieces and they answered my enquiry asap, then sent me spare parts in record time. The delivery of the product itself was incredibly fast as well. Couldn’t be more delighted with the speed and quality of service. Overall excellent. I would absolutely recommend this scooter.

I bought one of these for my son when he was 3. The four wheels were excellent and unlike the larger scooters he could balance better with the lighter frame. My son quickly graduated to the two wheels (keep all the fittings as you may need them) and he became a scooting expert. Not only did it provide exercise but it helped with general mobility. I would push the pram with the baby in it and he would scoot beside me - believe me you can get places with the help of this scooter that you just cant get with a walking 3 year old. When you reach your destination you simply fold the scooter and either carry it or fling it on the handles of the pram. Now my son is nearly 5 and has another extendable scooter and my daughter (19mths) has taken ownership of this one. In total I've bought 3 of these scooters and will get my daughter the pink one for Xmas. They are great for exercise - I've spents hours in my drive whilst the kids scoot about, they help you get about and it gives you the opportunity to praise your kids new found skills - I recommend you buy from 2yrs - if the child gets a bit wobbly the scooter will fall and it wont bring the child with it like the bigger ones so dont worry. - Dont get anything else - these are definately my recommendation!

È un'articolo ben costruito , rapporto qualità prezzo ottima , va bene per le piccole età, il mio bimbo ha quasi 2 anni ed è ottimo per imparare ad avere equilibrio e a capire come sterzare , a differenza di tutti gli altri monopattini che invece di sterzare devono inclinare. Un consiglio , se il manubrio risulta troppo alto volendo si può tagliare con un seghetto così il bimbo piccolo può avere più comodità avendo l'impugnatura più bassa

Je viens de recevoir cette trottinette commandée sur Amazon. Je me suis fiée aux commentaires des clients et je ne suis pas déçue. Pour l'instant je ne vois que des points positifs : J'ai été livrée en moins d'une semaine, alors que le produit est un import. Je l'ai montée très facilement toute seule en 10 minutes, malgré la notice en anglais. Elle semble particulièrement solide : la trottinette est en fer et non en plastique. Les roues arrières sont suffisamment rapprochées pour que mon fils ne butte pas dedans avec son pied libre en poussant. La planche n'est pas trop haute : le point de gravité très bas rend la trottinette très stable pour les petits. Les 4 roues la rendent aussi très stable : mon fils de 20 mois s'est lancé en quelques minutes ! La planche dispose d'un grip antidérapant. Elle est évolutive : on peut passer de 4 à 3 puis 2 roues. Elle est pliable. Le guidon est réglable selon la taille de l'enfant. Je dois dire que je suis vraiment bluffée par la qualité de ce produit, de plus le prix est raisonnable.
