Works great, easy to install, connect live and neutral, then connect the other two wires to the push button s, and hey presto. Like other say it keeps telling you the gates are open, but no probs, a really great cheap fix for a smart gate opener,

I’ve added one these to my BFT Rigel 5 gate controller and placed a Ring doorbell on the outside - it’s a really cheap way of upgrading a non video gate controller. Importantly, it doesn’t interfere with any of the existing gate control methods - just adds WiFi and Alexa / smart App control. The App and the Alexa skill work well provided you’re not bothered about knowing whether the gates are open or closed (unless you install the included sensor)… but then the Ring camera shows the status of the gates - so it’s not a worry to me. Most importantly, my wife is very happy about being able to instruct Alexa to open the gates….and if she’s happy……..

Very easy to install on our automatic gate controller and the Tuya app works well, but the settings don't match the gate. Normally the gate is triggered with a single button which alternately opens and closes the gates, but the app gives me separate open and close buttons. This is problematic mostly for the voice control. If i want to open my gate but the app thinks the gate is open, then asking it to open won't do anything. I have to tell it to "close", which triggers the gate and it opens. The opposite is then true the next time you use it. Are there any settings in the app I should be changing to make it a single button controller?

Works perfectly. Just wish the installation instructions were linked to a pdf somewhere on that tiny instruction manual that it came with!

Worked for me, ez install, now I can open my gate when I’m down the streer, being on a busy street its good to have the gate opened prior to arrival! wish there was a way to link my security cameras at home so I can see if the gate is cleared of humans and pets before closing. connected mine to a CO Z gate opener.

Functionally it works great! Only dinged one star because the app is not good. It won’t recognize this is a gate and not a garage door, and no way to configure the app to reverse the status (open vs closed). But it works! Can open the gate from anywhere! Just need a phone and cell service, and your gate must be within WiFi range.
