The book is really nice, with amazing photos, interesting facts and useful information. I like advice about when to visit each country, also 'getting under the skin' section is great as allows really to understand and will help to experience each country and territory. The is nice map and flag shown at each entry. This is certainly one of the heaviest books you will ever get so don't expect to take it with you unless you drive to your holiday home and have plenty of space in your car. So what are the minor flaws? Well, unfortunately the book does not cover all the countries (or strictly speaking dependent territories) as it states on the cover. UK is not described as a one country but divided into Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England which is great as all of them have unique character but Channel Islands have been completely forgotten. Residents of St Helena, Faroe Islands and Isle of Man will be heartbroken as they don't feature anywhere in this book (Pitcairn with population of 65 has it's own entry which is fantastic). I disagree with authors that Aruba and Netherlands Antilles or Reunion should not have a separate entry as they are not big or important enough. In fact Aruba has separated from Netherland Antilles in 1986 so there should be separate entries for each of them. I believe that furthermore Netherlands Antilles coulod be split into Curacao and Bonaire on one side and St Maarten, Saba and Sint Eustatius on the other side. Spitsbergen definitely deserves separate entry as does Gibraltar or Montserrat (all those mentioned have only small text and one small photo at the end of the book). It would also be nice to have full entries for Wallis and Futuna, St Pierre and Miquelon, Niue and Tokelau as well for Midway Islands. Alaska and Hawaii should be recognized as well as they are quite different from the rest of USA and separated from lower 48. I also don't like joining together some territories - US Virgin Islands are different than British Virgin Islands, Israel should be separated from Palestine, Northern Mariana Islands are separate territory than Guam (if authors wanted them to be together than at least both flags should be included; only Guam flag features). I am also suspicious about one the photos in Bulgaria entry (Dracula castle is rather in Romania than Bulgaria). Those are the suggestions for next edition of this book which will be released probably around October 2019. That would make the wonderful book really complete. Altogether this is amazing book and I can strongly recommend it to anyone. Whenever you want to travel to Anguilla, Liechtenstein, Swaziland or Uruguay you will find a lot of helpful information. This is probably the most enjoyable book I bough this year, perfect to read next to Christmas Tree :) If it was 6 star rating I would rate as 6. Review: Beautiful book to inspire travel. - Absolutely beautiful book. It’s huge! Really the type of book you put on a coffee table and flick through. Not a great deal of information on each place but enough to whet the appetite and inspire further reading. The biggest draw of this book are the pictures; every page is graced with a brilliant selection of beautifully shot, amazingly detailed pictures that just make you want to experience these sights for yourself. A fantastic book and unbelievable value.

Most exprensive book in the world.....
Because now I want to visit all of the countries! This book brings them to life with stunning images and humorous, engaging descriptions that give a snapshot of the highlights of each destination. I can't put this book down, despite its size! I recommend getting the hardback Berlin over the kindle, it's something you'll want to keep picking up and flicking through. I'm going to add my own pictures between the pages to show the countries my partner and I have visited, hope to keep this book as a treasured memory book but also capture the places we hope and dream to go one day :)

Wonderful book
Wonderful book. So much information and absolutely beautifully illustrated. Whole family loves it. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the book is big and heavy but this is probably a bonus for some, especially as it makes a wonderful gift. Also four stars for the price. Expensive book although quality is excellent

Great book
Great book, very big, good quality hard cover and pages, enough pictures and text , not boring, potentially could be used in a tourism bureau. Excellent to be given as a gift to someone, if those who do not like reading. Very heavy though

A4 Travel Book - Amazing
The Travel Book around the world was the best travel book i've every ordered, the size was A4 the thickness and detail of each country/place/area was amazing, this was purchased for a friend who likes to travel, she was most impressed. Had so much information, map and detailed areas and attractions to see. Quality of the book was brilliant - would definitely recommend this book to anyone whom likes to travel or even someone whom just wants to read about difference places. Love this book.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who is an aspiring traveller to provide a source of inspiration. She absolutely loved it! It served as a great source of inspiration for her to plan her globe trotting. The photos are amazing and there's enough information about each country to give you a teaser before you have to go off and do more homework on where you actually do want to travel to. It's also a really great value because the hardcover book is huge! It actually weighs quite a bit, so you can tell that it's of high quality. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a solid coffee table book that can serve as a conversation starter.
