Best tea I've ever drank!
Firstly, before you even drink the tea Vadham have gone above and beyond to make sure it arrives in optimal condition. There are 2 vacuum sealed packets of tea so you can consume one while keeping the second fresh. Each packet lasts a surprisingly long time as you only need a teaspoonful for a mug of tea so knowing there will be zero deterioration on the second packet is a definite bonus. Furthermore your tea comes with a sealable pouch that you can tip your tea into after opening to retain optimal flavour. I use a mason jar & keep the tea in a cupboard so it doesn't get direct light cos I usually have 2 a day & this works better for me. The packet comes with a handy adhesive label if this is the route you also wish to take. Vadham recommend boiling the tea in milk for that tchai latte drink but I cannot stand milk so I boil the tea in water & sweeten with honey (never sugar) and sometimes a wedge of lime. Absolutely delicious!! Just the right blend of spice to elevate standard British Rail tea to another level of nirvana. This is my third time ordering this tea & I can confidently say it is totally on a different level to supermarket offerings. I don't drink any other tea now, thank you Vadham. PS. I use this tea with the infuser from Hauspfrofi which I also got on Amazon & would also recommend.

Authentic chai!
I love chai tea and while was I was in Seattle I tried an amazing chai latte but the brand isn’t sold here so I got this as it sounded similar. If I make a big pot for around 5 people then I use around 6 teaspoons with only milk and put it on the stove and let it boil. It tastes really good but not as spicy or intense as I would like so I will buy the stronger version or the ginger version in future. You can also use plant based or soya milk which I usually do and it’s great!

Wonderful brand, perfect chai
WOW. BOWLED OVER by this brand - from the moment I opened it, such an uplifting experience - I almost don’t want to spoil the surprise for others, but LOVELY, brilliant touches from this brand on opening. I was in total delight for about an hour 😁 but I do love India so much that anything that connects me fills my heart. Onto the tea : normally I find masala chai a little strong when I’m in India - but this is so delicately and perfectly blended it’s just the right hints of everything for my taste and no part of it overpowers the rest. Also importantly is 1% of the purchase goes to the education of the tea pickers children, which I think is a brilliant initiative. This brand has impressed me so much I’m following them on social media and will support their charity TEAch me further. Enjoy your chai ! (They also sell other stuff). It’s been a more than 5 star experience for me and they deserve this review so much. 💓

Honestly - the best chai tea I've tasted - and I've just returned from India!
Having acquired a real love for chai latte after my recent holiday in India I was inspired to try making my own back home. I was never very impressed with the offerings from cafes here so I was very excited to taste this as it promised to be the genuine article. I enjoyed opening the box and breaking into the vacuum sealed package - what an aroma! gorgeous......so then i followed the instructions given to make the chai latte version. Apart from allowing the milk pan to overboil on the first attempt - rookie mistake! - it smelled delicious. And the taste is absolutely fantastic, no exaggeration. I spent the rest of the afternoon making them for eager friends and family. Thank you so much for the care and love you've obviously put into this project - I'll definitely be ordering more, as well as spreading the word for you.

Loved this tea.
The tea itself is very nice. You can feel it is rounded almost velvety taste. I feel the quality of the tea leaves used is great. The only if any criticism is that I find the aroma of the spices less intense than I expected. From previous experiences with other supplier, (Chi Guys, not sold in Amazon) Still a lovely masala chai, and I enjoy t. Better maybe doing it the traditional Indian way of simmering it in milk.

Excellent Masala Chai Tea
Earlier this year we were fortunate to do a tour of Southern India which included visiting a number of tea plantations. One of the things that my partner fell in love with was Masala Chai tea and was concerned that, when we returned home, she would not be able to get this blend of tea. However, thanks to Vahdam Teas this has not been the case. This is the second package of Masala Chai Tea that I have ordered from Vahdam Teas for her and she has been delighted with the quality and taste of the tea which, she says, is as good, if not better, than the Masala Chai Tea she had in India. I should say that it is not to my taste but, my partner loves it. The package of tea was delivered quickly by Vahdam Teas and was well, and appropriately, packaged. If you are into Masala Chai Tea you will not be disappointed with this product - strongly recommended.

Value for money? Not really, it's over priced. BUT it is the best Chai I've tried and I'll be buying it again. Most days, black tea and chai powder is alright, but when I really want to relax or share a pot with friends, this is definitely the go-to Chai tea

Absolutely bangin' Chai. I shared some with my Indian friend who spends 4-months there each year, and he was very happy with it. The flavour is very distinct and extremely aromatic. The cardamom looks somewhat dried in the packet, but once you brew the tea it is clearly different to the typical chai mixes - it appears to be much fresher. The taste certainly reflects that. And it's not just the spices, the actual black tea itself is a really high quality and it makes for a delightfully sensory brew. I do have one gripe though - the bag doesn't last very long. I wish it had just a little more in :D but maybe I'm being greedy. Quality over quantity is fair I guess. Definitely give it a try!

I was looking for a good quality loose leaf chai that tasted similar to my standby Tazo (i.e. Starbucks), and this is an excellent replacement with a very similar spice profile (no ginger, which I actually prefer). When making chai, it is very important to consider your TOTAL final liquid amount when deciding how much of the tea to use (I use milk/water in equal amounts), and this could be why some people find it much too weak after adding milk. I actually do mostly cold brew these days and drink my chai cold more often than hot, but based on many reviews recommending boiling the mixture first, I did try that first. I started off by boiling the tea in water for several minutes, then letting it sit for a few hours to cool down, then straining out and adding milk. I did find that using just 1 teaspoon tea per cup of liquid was a bit weak, and I have settled on approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons tea per cup of chai, which is about perfect. After boiling the mixture the first couple times I made it, I wanted to see how it would do if I cold brewed it and how the strength/taste would compare. I added 4 1/2 teaspoons tea (plus 2 Tablespoons sugar) to a quart jar and covered it with 1 1/2 cups hot tap water (I let the tap get as hot as it could first), let it sit for a few hours. I then added milk to make 3 cups, placed in fridge overnight, and strained it out the next morning. I was very happy that it actually turned out great! I really did not notice any difference in flavor from when I boiled it, and the overall flavor was very similar to using the Tazo concentrate (Tazo seems to get some hate from tea purists but I love it). One last note: I think people underestimate how much sugar plays a role in making chai taste like chai (especially if you are used to drinking it in coffee houses like Starbucks or using the concentrate). When making something at home, you don't realize how much sugar actually goes into those concentrates. I have found that using about 2 teaspoons sugar per cup of liquid makes it sweet enough for me (but is still only about half of what goes into the concentrates!).
