About Home Cotton Rich Herringbone Blanket Throw, Settee Cover (Beige/Natural, 228x254 cm)

I got this product in 2019 to cover up a damaged sofa in my first house. There was a bit of an odour to it but 2 washes soon sorted it out. (It can be very heavy when wet so be careful with the washing line). Since then we have used every summer for sleeping as is cotton and keeps you cool at night. There isn't any damage or shrinkage in the time that I've had it and is a nice design. Couldn't recommend enough.

There was a strong smell from the natural fibers when I opened the package but a bit of an airing and it was fine. It is 'big'! Covers our three seat sofa no problem. The natural colours suit us well and it looks nice with our Christmas cushions scattered around. If there is a 'but' it is the fringing. I'm not a fan of fringes on throws but the details did not say anything about fringes so I presumed there were none. I usually buy at the lower end of the price scale for a throw as we have pets so this one suits fine. Being 100% cotton there will be no static build up which is a huge plus. Time will tell as to how it washes and wears.

I bought this throw as a temporary cover for my old (2-seater) sofa until I buy a new one - as such, I did not want to spend a lot of money on it. I read some of the reviews saying that it smelt bad/musty etc. and/or that it snagged easily. I went ahead with the purchase anyway thinking that it could be washed and/or that it won't be used for long. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a lovely quality throw (for the price, of course) with a nice, brand new smell to it. It drapes beautifully and looks more expensive than it cost. It would not, however, fit generously over a 3-seater sofa. I have not washed it yet so cannot comment on whether it shrinks or snags etc. Nonetheless, I can now put off that expensive new sofa purchase for longer than expected!

Really happy with this throw. It’s just as described and a lovely colour which goes well with a crimson red theme. We have a super king bed and this is a perfect size for this bed as an extra layer. It’s a good weight too not thin and flimsy like others. Very pleased.

Good value for money as its a big throw and looks good, but as other customers have mentioned, it was rather musty when it arrived and even a little stained - so perhaps has been in storage for a while. After a wash it was OK, but probably needs another one. Some slight snagging too, but having said all that, its still good value.

I bought this as a throw to go over my sofa, to protect it from my dog. It looks extremely smart and is very hard wearing. I have no criticisms at all, but I do warn you that you need to wash it first as when you take it out of the bag it sheds cotton fibres. But it is good quality and great value for money

Used for covering a very large electric chair. It does the job. Should have got a bigger one, but this is ok. Soft thinnish material, and reasonable quality / value for the money.

Love this throw. My sofa was looking shabby but is still very comfortable. This has covered the 3 seater and now it looks smart and cosy! It does not cover the arms but I didn't want this, if you want to cover these, you will need the bigger one. It doesn't smell either which sometimes they do!

If this blanket is something you're looking at to look cute folded/draped on your couch, go for it. It's not the comfiest blanket in the world and I'm not sure I've ever chosen to snuggle up with it over my other blankets since I've had it. But it looks more expensive than it is, and gives a nice pop of color to the room. Yellow fuzzies may get all over your clothes and couch unless you wash it right away. Since I don't really "use" it, I haven't washed it yet and can't speak to what it would look like after a wash. Overall happy I bought it, but don't expect to want to use it in bed or as your main couch blanket.

Für den Preis schön, nicht zu dick, aber auch nicht dünn, sollte anfangs eine Stunde lüften. Kaufempfehlung!
