Stanley ZSTA-0-33-504 STA033504 FatMax Autolock Pocket Tape 8m/26ft (Width 32mm) Pro 8 m/26 ft, Multi-Colour

Very pleased with this purchase. Price a little high, hence the 4 stars on value for money, but quality seems very good. I was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews, relating to the auto-stop facility, but took the risk based on previous experience of Stanley products and tape measures. Pleased to say the auto-stop facility works perfectly and the blade does not 'creep' back into the body at all, plus if you retract and release the button at any point before fully retracted it stops immediately. I like the interchangable hook feature as previously had the 8m FATMAX with the wide hook only (lost on site, hence this purchase!) and found it difficult to measure if placing the blade against at 90 degrees to a flat surface; the narrow blade, same width as the blade, is perfect. Blade has both metric and imperial measurements so no issues there. Would definitely recommend.

Nice and study tape measure that I have been using fatmax tape measures for years as a handyman of 15 plus years. I'm not sure I like the big add on thing, it does seem like an afterthought. I did think magnet was good idea, why didn't you do this years ago and why not include this as solid part not a cheap afterthought add on. I love the autolock feature you had brought to the fatmax range, it does save me a lot of time woodworking and as I expect a rugged tape measure whatever you throw at it. I love fatmax stand outs. I will see how long this one lasts. Still have old fatmax and they are dented up and dont stand out well, but I can say still ok for odd small job. Thanks stanley.

Quality stanley tape measure, sturdy & heavy duty

Great measure. Nice big easy to read gauge. Amazing stand-out length. Handy magnetic end. I like the reverse lock (you extend the tape and it stays out, press the button to release). My only issue is the spring mechanism that holds the tape out could do with being stronger. It's too easy to push the tape back in when measuring.

Absolutely no complaints other than the lock being a bit stiff

I've always had Stanley tape measures and all been brilliant. This is the worse and most expensive one I have ever bought. It's heavy (which is fine, it's a long tape) but the most frustrating useless function is the recoil of the tape. I have to manually feed it back in for anything over 5 foot. Might be a bad batch but it's really put me off. Oh and the lock function doesn't and never has worked. Bought a cheapo for 5 quid which ticks all the boxes. Save your money. For clarity I do think highly of Stanley equipment but this should be resigned to the bin and existence forgot about.

Clear markings and strong.

It’s a beast of a tape measure. Only one that come close to it is the Milwaukee version. Iv got both and I can say this one comes out slightly on top! Only thing don’t drop it, it’s easily broken.

A trena é robusta, porém o sistema autolock não funciona bem. Ao realizar medidas, a fita retrai com facilidade, mesmo estando travada, comprometendo a medida. A partir de 1,50cm, quando apertado o botão para retração, a fita começa a ter dificuldade para retornar, passando de 1,60cm só retrai ajudando com a mão. Muito alto o valor para desempenho insatisfatório.

Das einzig positive an diesem maßstab ist, dass man ihn auf auf über 3m ausfahren kann ohne das er knickt. Sonst ist er nur unhandlich, schwer. Außerdem kann man das Band nicht richtig arretieren und das Zubehör für den Haken habe ich nach 10 Minuten verloren. Werde wieder den Sola big T umsteigen, denn dieser ist viel handlicher und außerdem hat er den besten Gürtelclip den es am Markt gibt

Produit de qualité et surtout dans la durée. Très bon compagnon de bricolage et fidèle malgré les chutes. Je recommande au petit comme au grand bricoleur.
