Will this give a good coverage for Pine furniture?

Not sure about covering pine furniture. I used it for covering wood knots on my skirting boards because there kept showing through the paint work. B.I.N worked a treat for that problem.

What type of paint is best as a top coat? Acrylic based? Cheers

I always use acrylic paints. Work a treat and you only need water to clean your brushes afterwards.

I used it on a painted wall where there was some staining and it worked well amd covered it up. I wouldn't see why I wouldn't work on the door.
