Perfect. I needed to connect my new mini PC HDMI port to my older Dell screen VGA port. When I googled it, the information said that I would need a particular Dell part. This one has done the job just fine, and everything works great, and at a great price too.

Bought a cheap one from an auction site, literally fell apart 1st time I used it, and by that time was unable to send it back, they do say you get what you pay for, it was Dear, and it wasn't good, however this adapter is well made, yes its not the cheapest but it feels solidly made, used it throughout the Euro football to watch my firestick on my monitor, was absolutely fantastic no issues at all, had seen some reviews that stated you need to power it for sound, I have it plugged into my rechargeable soundbar and it worked fine wirh being powered. Picture and sound quality excellent can highly recommend this adapter you will not be disappointed at all.

So happy with this. It means its possible to continue using a TV that's hdmi ports have stopped working. This is so simple. We plugged Roku or any stick into the adapters hdmi port and then plug that into the VGA or ours is labeled RGB port and it worked instantly. Powered by usb. Such a good product. Quality packaging, quality product. Plug it into your monitor, plug an hdmi cable into your laptop etc then plug that into the converter. Turn your monitor on and there you go. If this is for a second monitor then you may need to adjust the screen resolution and as its HDMI you may need to change the scaling to get a full screen image. This is normal with any monitor utilising an hdmi connection. There are a ton of videos and guides in the net for sorting this out. Let google be your friend.

The 3 hdmi to VGA converter I'm trying for use with 2nd gen Chromecast and TV with broken HDMI ports but functioning VGA port. First one claimed to function without separate usb power supply - additional power was drawn through Chromecast causing overheating (Chromecast cuts off after about 30mins) and potential damage to Chromecast. Second one was Amazon basics - didn't work at all. Third time's the charm, this seems to work without causing the Chromecast to overheat. This cost more than the alternatives but seems to be the only one that actually works. Cheaper than a new TV!

Having bought this product after reading all the positive reviews, I wish my experience was as good as those that I had read. The product arrived and does not work at all. I have tried it on 3 separate devices but nothing. To make matters worse I bought the product and did not need to use it initially for a few weeks, by the time I did my window for returning it had also passed! I now need to buy a replacement as well as losing the £20 I paid for this originally!

Used for Amazon Fire TV Stick to a 2004 Philips 24inch flat screen with no HDMI but with VGA input. I thought I was going to have to send this back as all I got was lines across the screen when I first connected the adapter. After a bit of investigating online I found the screen resolution setting needed for the TV was different to the setting for my newer living room TV. I put the Fire Stick back into my living room TV and on the Fire Stick went to 'Settings', 'Display & Sounds', 'Video Resolution' and changed it from 'Auto' to '720p 60Hz' (picture attached) I then connected the Fire Stick to the adapter put it back in the old Philips TV and it worked perfectly this time. I connected my portable JAM speaker to the adapter and the sound was good and in sync. Woohoo :-) I can now watch Amazon Prime, Netflix and BBC iPlayer etc in the bedroom now without having to buy a new TV. I knocked a star off the review as it would have been good to have some helpful instructions in the box with some troubleshooting tips.

Acheté pour brancher un chtomecast sur une télé ou les prises hdmi avaient rendu l'âme. Le résultat est plutôt surprenant, la qualité d'image est très bonne comparé au pc direct en vga, la prise jack fonctionne très bien c'est nickel 👌👌 Autre fait surprenant de ce combo, c'est le scintillement, il était omniprésent quand la télé était branché en vga, en hdmi c'était bien en 144hz mais la, le scintillement et l'entralecement du rafraîchissements semble avoir disparus.

Ottima scelta, installata senza problemi è stata subito riconosciuta. Ho installato l'adattatore ad un televisore Samsung 22 pollici per collegare la Fire TV di Amazon. L'adattatore (da hdmi a vga) ha inoltre una porta micro usb (per ricevere l'alimentazione della corrente tramite una porta usb. Si può usare la porta usb della tv oppure collegarla ad un carica batteria per cellulari) ed una uscita audio con porta jack tipo quello per gli auricolari dello smartphone. Fortunatamente funziona senza alimentatore e la tv ha una porta audio in entrata con lo stesso tipo di spinotto quindi ho collegato l'audio direttamente alla tv, in modo tale da poter controllare il volume con il telecomando della tv. Funziona bene e non mi ha dato nessun tipo di errore, sia video che audio. Sembra di buona manifattura. Prezzo un pò caro ma di sicuro mi ha risolto il problema della tv che aveva la porta hdmi rotta. Spedizione Amazon Prime eccellente con consegna in un giorno.
