NVIDIA SHIELD Controller, Black

After struggling badly to get an Xbox controller and an 8bitdo to work over bluetooth, I was losing faith. The Xbox over bluetooth had severe latency issues (like 2 to 3 seconds) and the SN30Pro wouldn't work with the R thumbstick.I resorted to this as it transmits over Wi-Fi. Syncs and works flawlessly. It feels like a £30 controller in the hands, but works like a £60 controller. Sadly, it costs £80. But, now enjoying Dolphin on the Shield. Buttons lack a decent travel distance and are a bit too hard and clicky. Triggers are nice though and thumbsticks are tight.

Best controller for nvidia shield devices. Bought it for nvidia shield k1 tablet and love it to the core.Good design (love it), fits well in hand, feels great, volume control is a nice touch. Easy to pair and use. Good battery backup. Earphone and Google Voice search integration is a good feature.Hefty price, could've made the navigation buttons a bit visible (like glow in the dark signs) burning deal breaker.

Brilliant control ,feels nice and solid in your hands ,very responsive when playing games ,it has replaced the normal control for my sheild which I never needs to use because every control is on here.

I am very impressed with this controller, it really feels better in the hand compared to the 1st gen controller, I thought the D pad would be rubbish but it works well as do all the buttons and analogue sticks, I have tried android games, emulators and the likes of half life 2 and portal with no issues on my K1 tablet, battery life seems great, I really can't recommend it enough, why 4 stars instead of 5, I think it's quite expensive, don't get me wrong the build quality is great but when the likes of a dual shock 4 is around £40 then this should be too, also no charging LED not a big issue but I would've liked one, I have thought about buying one for a while and I'm glad I finally did it's awesome

Works brilliantly! Arrived early, popped out of box, connected first go, no wires, no problems! Comes with usb charging cable, lasts days before needing a charge so far! Very happy! Can use as remote control too!

This remotes much better than the old one in a good few ways, it fits nicely in your hands, I never realised how bulky the old one was until I held this. Not to fussed on the strange pattern affect but it's nice and comfortable in the hand, secondly the replacement of the home and start touch buttons with the physical push buttons that to me makes a massive difference, I really disliked that feature on the first pad.The analog sticks on this one feel more smooth in operation, maybe that's Down to the fact my son bashed the life put of the old pad...Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a 2015 shield.

Nvidia shield controller is over priced , I tried other controllers but the wi fi don't work , they use substandard materials , the left joy stick deforms and the A button sticks , I have sent back 4 of them , just to compare my x box 360 the controller is still working fine and can't remember when I bought that. I phoned Nvidia in America ,about 5 years ago , told them of the faults , and I said can they make them a bit bigger , my hands are average size but find it a bit small , I play Ashphalt 8 , played it for over 10 years .
