Excellent pain relief.
I suffer from severe spinal injuries from a RTA and years of slave labour in the NHS . Analgesics only last so long and you build up a tolerance very quickly so I was desperately looking for alternative deep muscle and skeleton pain relief. Stumbled across an article on line about the pain relieving qualities of magnesium oil but suspected the relief was more antidotal than scientific. After a little more on line research and reading a forum on users experiences I decided to try M O for myself. I chose this particular brand as it was advertised as gentle on sensitive skin and administered via a pump spray. During a bout of level five pain I had my trusty female assistant apply liberal amounts of oil to my neck , spine , shoulders elbow and knee joints as the agonising pain migrates as the muscles contract. After a few minuets still experiencing great pain I slowly started to feel my muscles soften and ease. The oil also felt as though it was penetrating deep into my skeleton frame with great success and ease of pain untill five minuets passed and I was once again in the situation of comfort and pain controll. The relief lasted many hours but I have found use corresponds to the level of pain but fortunately you can apply the oil many times liberally but skin dry out can occur but is easily offset with a good moisturiser . Since first using M O I have also bought a bucket of magnesium flakes to sprinkle in a hot bath which I feel also relaxes my frame and prevents spontaneous pain attacks. I have recommended M O to friends and family and only my eighty year old mother has reported that she receives little relief . Other recommended users have stated glowing reports of different degrees of pain relief and relaxation. I use M O and flakes as a regular part of my pain management and would now not be without it. I have also discovered you can take it orally in small doses diluted in water so I am going to experiment with this next. If your suffering with little relief from aches and pains I highly recommend you try magnesium oil. For cost effectiveness you can buy the flakes and easily make your own oil for a fraction of the price but it will not contain the skin sensitive ingredients. The product arrived the next day in a convenient plastic spray pump bottle and caused no stinging or discomfort which is reported by some users of regulare M O .

Restless legs no more!
If you have restless legs this stuff will be a game changer. After suffering for years I bought this and every time the jumpiness starts I spray on the magnesium and it works within minutes. The smell is a bit odd, but only lasts for a short time after application.

Brilliant Product
I have used this product for a number of years and it is great. It was strange that the box it came in was for a smaller bottle but that didn't bother me. I was not overly happy with the delivery as I had messages that there was an issue with delivery but no details and then it was delivered to a neighbour although I was at home when it said it was delivered. Recently the delivery people tend to tap the window and not knock the door which means I miss a lot of deliveries. It is annoying for me and for my neighbours who keep taking my parcels in.

Great relief from leg/ muscle cramp.
My husband uses this for his restless legs and leg cramps. It works almost immediately. It also seems to be working as a prevention of these things as he hasnt had them in awhile since using this every other day. We will always ensure we have this in stock in our house.

Seems to be a very good product
Its the first time for me trying a magnesium spray. I have only used it now and then during the last month and don't expect dramatic results yet. But so far I like it. As I have very sensitive skin I choose this one for myself (I also both the Original and the Joint spray as gifts). I really like using it. I don't feel the tingle as it warn you might feel. But It seems like my skin "like it". It reduce redness and the inflammation I have on my legs in some bruises that are trying to heal up. Very nice! If I obtain the magnesium trough the skin, I can't tell (yet?), but I like how it feels. No sent when used. - The Joint version (I gave to my mum) have a very powerful minty smell, that you might not like when going out. But should provide greater pain relief due to it. Honestly I can't feel that the Sensitive version provides any pain relief. I have sprayed it on my bag and neck a few times, when Im having pain from being in from of the computer to loong. I can't tell if it actually makes a difference. But i recommend it for the skin benefits.

Health benefits are worth it
Pros : Cheaper than Floradix magnesium - one bottle has 600 sprays' worth. I use 10 sprays a day like my 3 kids do. This will last approximately 15 days. Floradix magnesium only lasts 5 days according to the stated dosage. I find I don't tolerate oral magnesium well. Leads to diarrhoea. This spray however eliminates the need to take magnesium orally. That's great for my bowels. I have actually noticed that my facial skin has become smoother after using this for a few days! That was an unexpected benefit but upon further reading online, seems this can be a side effect of magnesium supplementation for some. I know I am magnesium deficient because even when I used to take magnesium orally, I notice an immediate improvement in the way I can think clearly (used to get a lot of brain fog especially after getting into my 30s). Improved my sleep too. I get tired more easily at night and less insomnia. Cons : It does leave like a sticky feeling on my skin. I read up online that it is due to the mineral salt deposited on the skin after the magnesium from the spray is absorbed. The residue can make my skin irritated or itch if in excess. Ways I have found to work around this issue is to only rub in 1 layer of spray on each patch of skin. No going over a patch of skin with more than 1 spray of magnesium. Also I have found that if I spray this on soon after I've taken a bath, my skin is less prone to itchiness and redness than if I apply it to skin that hasn't been bathed for at least an hour before... My kids too have the same issue with this spray and for 2 of them the workaround is fine, but 1 of them still complains of itching after... I read that it is okay to rinse off the salt deposit on the skin (which can cause skin irritation in some) if you have waited 20 mins after application for the magnesium to be fully absorbed. So she does that and it solves the issue. My son was diagnosed with severe vit D deficiency recently. I started looking into it and found that just supplementing with vit D isn't enough and that his body probably is low in magnesium as well. That's why I started supplementing him with magnesium. He has got restless legs before bed... I didn't find applying this oil before bed helps his restless legs issue though. But he no longer complains of leg pains anymore after starting supplementing with vit D and magnesium. I'm not sure if both helped or one of them did. He also had the most severest reaction to this spray when trying it for the first time. He almost cried and said it stung his skin. Now though, few days later and after I worked out that applying straight after bathing and not applying more than 1 spray on each patch of skin reduces the potential irritation, he is fine with it now. I have to say though that this Sensitive Skin version only gives the body half the amount of magnesium per spray compared to the normal version. 10 sprays of this version give 100 mg magnesium, whereas 10 sprays of the normal version gives 200mg magnesium. I am going to buy the normal version and spray only 5 times per day to get 100mg, same as I would get with this version with double the number of sprays. Both versions work out to cost the same price but the normal version works out cheaper since 5 sprays of it gives the same amount as 10 sprays of this.

I didn't think it was working until I was proved wrong whilst on holiday!
After a disappointing experience with the Goodnight Spray and having seen reviews on there of people who said this worked better for them I thought I'd give it a try. I was still looking for it to benefit my sleep and hoped that without the terrible smell of the other one and a more sensitive product it might work out better for me. As it is recommended to build up the amount of sprays used over time, I started with 5 sprays half an hour before bed but gradually built up to 20. With the mg per 10 sprays being 100 this meant I was getting 200 mg 56% of the RDA on good days but many days I would just do 10 sprays as I find it quite an inconvenience to do more. With just 10 sprays I found that it took a long time to rub in and even then it left a sticky residue on the skin, this doesn't absorb fully over time either. Some mornings I would wake up and the area skin of skin sprayed would still feel tacky. For these reasons using 20 sprays for the highest recommended amount according to the packaging, it was just too much hassle. As with the other spray, I expected a stinging sensation as others had commented on the different magnesium sprays but I did not get this which I was pleased about. Sometimes it felt warm or itchy for half an hour ish after spraying but not in an uncomfortable way and it wasn't very often. I didn't really notice this was doing much to my sleep, I had been hoping for better quality sleep and not waking up feeling tired, this was until I went on holiday. I didn't take the spray with me as I didn't want extra and potentially unnecessary things in my suitcase but after a few days of being away I started to notice how tired I was feeling in the morning. This went on for a few days when I got home also as I had got out of the habit of using the spray. When I realised and started using again I started to notice I was less tired when I woke up and throughout the day. I am glad I discovered this in that way as it shows that it was having a big effect, I just wasn't noticing it, which is the problem with some products like this, it's hard to know if they're working or if you're wasting your money! I have since tried the standard spray from this brand hoping that with more mgs in a spray that it would be more convenient to use but that doesn't seem to be the case and so I will be back to using the sensitive version when I next purchase. I definitely think this is the best option from BetterYou's magnesium range!
