I live in a hard water area, so limescale in the kettle is a constant battle. I wasn’t sure if this little ring would actually stop limescale building up in my kettle, but after a few weeks of use I noticed far less fur and no floating bits in my tea. It’s safe, it does a little scale removal at a time and it’s cheap. No taste or taint in the water at all.

Have kept in descaled kettle. Nothing built up after about 40-45 boilings. But can better review after some further use. Bought 2 of this. Another is kept in partially scalled kettle. Will observe the results. So far not much effect seen in the scalled kettle (after 25 boilings)

Should have got this old fashioned idea long ago it's reduced the scale in my kettle

Been having these for years in our kettles and they do work, you just have to remember to crunch it to release the scale but they are a cheap and easy solytion

Love these. Just had to by another one after having my old one in the kettle for years. It always gross when you get bits of limescale in your drink but I haven't had that in years specifically because of this. My mother in law had never seen one before and ended up getting one for her kettle!
