We love these! We bought 2 for our boys that we home school and they work great! We haven't had any problems. We did buy the warranty on each because boys will be boys. Very easy to use, great sound (with or without headphones), and great picture. They aren't heavy, the screen rotates which makes it easy to help them if I need to and it has a remote control so i can pause to help them if i need.

I just purchased this and have only used it twice. It worked so great for us. The sound quality was good and pictures was nice and clear. It’s very portable! It does make a little more sound when the dvd does its thing but otherwise no complaints here! Great value for the money. I hope the battery life last and the screen continues to work!!

I'm totally satisfied with my purchase. I like the large vibrant screen with the remote. It comes in handy. Furthermore, I must say it's well built the buttons/controls are large for individuals with disabilities .

Appears to be of good quality. Nice picture, well tuned and did not require any adjustment to get a good picture. The 'Resume Where Left Off' feature is really nice as it automatically restarts at same point on the DVD as it was at when shut off. It does seem to have a problem with reading some DVDs where it will freeze up for 10-20 seconds now and then. Does not do it in the same place twice, so not sure what is wrong.

Amazing! Great picture. Sound is great. Easy to use. Remote is handy. The large turn screen is nice. Plus the car charger is a plus.

Stopped working after using only occasionally for less than 5 months. Watching brand new MASH complete series DVD’s. Suddenly, get message that DVD was an “unsupported format”. However, had just watched earlier episodes on that very same DVD! Piece of junk.

The difference between the Wonnie and this, the DBPOWER, in the realm of inexpensive large screen portable DVD players is night and day. The former I returned, the latter I just received, and it it the better of the two in every way that's important to me. Top on that list is the well thought out intuitive placement of the control features. As I watch a lot of television series, the ease of returning to main menu and to individual episodes is high on the list. I have bought 6 or 7 of these players over 15 years, and this DBPOWER promises to be my favorite. Obviously, longevity is yet to be seen. Oh yeah, the home screen publishes a web address for help. Good job.

I got a few weeks ago and finally sat it up last night. Was pretty standard. Put brand new batteries in the remote. It didn't work even long enough to finish all the set up. Fortunately most functions are available on top of the player. Much more inconvenient though. Player itself seems to work well, but I do wish the volume would go louder. I had same issue with 2 other DVD players also though, so I guess thats a standard problem. I have had to purchase external speakers to get them loud enough to hear without straining. Very disappointed about the remote though. So because of that and volume issues I give it a three instead of a 4 or 5. I do wish the manufacturers would put the on and off switch on the front I stead of the side sandwiched between your cords. That seems to be standard too. Maybe I'll get lucky and the company will send me another remote. (All remotes should be glo-in-the-dark by the way! Hint hint) edit::: Company got in touch with me and offered to send a whole new unit, since they didn't have a remote in stock. I declined on that, I don't believe in taking advantage of this sort of situation. It took a little time but they did get me another remote. It seems to be working fine. I am still not happy with the volume, but as I said before I had the same trouble with other portable DVD players, so I think that is just the way it is. Because of their excellent customer service I am changing my review to 5 stars.
