Umarex Smith & Wesson M&P 9 GBB 6mm BB Pistol Airsoft Gun

Got this to practice marksmanship as it's an exact match and feel as the real deal. The blow back slide works well and have not had any issues.

The piece that's in place of the ejector in the real thing has a little tab on it that doesn't stick out far enough to hold itself in place, so it constantly flops out. This annoys my son to no end, because otherwise, he LOVES it! But this little piece is a constant in your face, and makes an otherwise excellent gun feel shoddy and cheap. I called them and let them know, so they sent me a return form to send the entire gun to them for repairs. It would cost more in shipping to get this repaired than it would cost just to send me the piece I need. Not good customer service. I won't be sending it in, but instead leaving 2 stars, and probably making a replacement myself out of aluminum.

The gun was fine when it worked, but the extractor bar kept flying out and eventually the thing just completely stopped running after a few thousand rounds. For $170, I expected a lot better. I also specifically bought this model because it LOOKS like it has an optic mounting plate, but it does not. Purely cosmetic. VERY disappointed with my purchase overall.

I’m 0 for 2 on the purchases of the Umarex S&W M&P9L GBB Green Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol. With both purchases of this pistol there was issue with what would be the extractor on the actual 9mm version (the metal tab on the slide located immediately above the slide stop lever and behind the ejection port) frequently popping outward when firing or racking the slide. I thought the first one to be defective, but after returning the first and buying another- same issues after 20 minutes of use. Unfortunate because everything else about the replica is awesome for M&P9 2.0 training. I’m not even sure what the purpose of having the extractor arm moveable on the airsoft model as it would seem to me to be just for replica cosmetics. Spending $150+ and having to tape or glue it down did not seem like something I wanted to do. 🙁 Would have given it 5 stars.
