🌿 Transform your tank into a thriving underwater jungle—grow green, grow proud!
Penn-Plax Aqua-Flora Moss Patch is a living resin aquarium decoration embedded with live Glosso plant seeds. Simply submerge it in freshwater tanks (70-80°F, pH 4.0-8.0) with good filtration and lighting to cultivate a lush moss bed. Its flat oval design promotes dense growth along the tank bottom, providing a natural, fish-safe aquascape that evolves over time.

It grows!
Sprouted in about 5 days. Time will tell if it lasts. Extremely simple instructions. Plop in your tank and wait. (recommend lightly rinsing first, lots of loose fine synthetic fibers) Added picture of six weeks after adding to tank. Lots of bits loosened up and floated off due to my bottom feeders plying with it. Hopefully some stay and get rooted. Update after a few months: The stems have taking off considerably and I never expected the plants would get so tall. In my 75 gallon a few stems are reaching the top of the tank already. I thought it was more of a leafy bush plant but this is interesting none the less. Plant is absolutely thriving in the tank. I do use api leaf zone fertilizer but have not messed with it since dropping in tank. Very happy with the turnout considering these Grew from seed. 6 month update: Plant grew like crazy. Its like a jungle off of just the one Penn plax seeded moss stone. So much so I started a 0 gallon tank and fully planted it using trimmings alone. Once the plant grows this large the stems start rooting out in segments and be trimmed and easily transplanted. Still no idea what plant this is but boy oh boy did it take off quick.

Love these! Bought more.
Took a few days for it to grow, but once it did, it was great! My fish love it and I have repurchased 3 more. Plants grow pretty tall and need pruning to keep my tank healthy and not overgrown.

Nothing Grew. Disappointed.
It’s been two weeks and nothing has grown :( i was really excited to have some grass for my snails to munch on and now it’s basically just a spot they all avoid bc nothing is there. Edit: Now been over a month and still no growth. I had one tiny sprout that has since then died and never turned into anything. :(

The miracle of transformation
A small gem. I was amused at how quickly and easy to grow. Open package. Set in tank 7-10 days later you have that little green patch of heaven. My angel fish enjoy it. Not stringy and messy like other aquarium plants.

Really nice. Lovely little addition to my tank.
I bought this a little uncertain because of the reviews but I’ve been pleased. It arrived on the 24th and i immediately put it in treated water to get it started, moving it to my tank two days later. By the 31st (first picture) it had started to sprout. Itty bitty tiny leaves but life! Went away on a trip and arrived back the 12th to find a lovely amount of growth (second picture). Might need to get a couple more of them! New uncycled 40 gallon tank set to 78 Fahrenheit. No fish in tank yet so no added fertilizer. Edit: not too long later, fish in the tank so naturally fertilizing and I’m super happy with how this looks in my tank! Third picture taken one month after the second. Edit: 4th and 5th picture something like 4 months in? You’d never believe this thing started out as that weird fuzzy green puck. I don’t know what these plants are but they seem to love my tank and just keep growing. My Kuhli Loaches LOVE this thing. I keep it propped up just a little and they go under is and through the plants and it’s just great. Gonna buy another for my other tank when I get the chance.

Beautiful color
Plopped into a 75 gal. vivarium. Sprouts after about 10 days and growing strong. My Neo's love rooting around in a new moss patch. Suitable for smaller tanks and great for mossy patches in larger tanks. I plan to order more for fill in spots. Beautiful little green sprouts. Great foreground specimen. Recommended.

Microplastic mess
It grew but all the green “moss” before it grows is plastic and flakes off everywhere. Gross

Growing green
Even when I gaf to medicate my 5 gallon I put this in. It still was growing after a few weeks. Having a smaller tank with a bright light definitely helps and using fertilizer. I look forward to this whole thing carpeting.
