Easy to install and good looking too.. I don’t have bacteria in my well but better safe than sorry.. comes with a spare bulb and ballast. Good investment!

Power draw of 140w
Works well, however, it is labeled at 55w and has an actual draw of ~140w which I found out after tracking down what was consuming so much electricity from a circuit that doesn’t have much use otherwise

Strong smell!
I have a 3M whole house filter system and it works great. I bought the bluonics UV light as an added measure to ensure we were getting clean water from our well. Immediately after installing the smell coming from my water is obnoxious. It's been installed for three days now and the smell hasn't changed. I've read that's what ozone smells like but you don't want to smell that coming from your water. I'm concerned that the "ozone" smell could be harmful now.
