We bought this for our 3yr old grand daughter. She and her 6 1/2 yr old brother enjoyed it thoroughly! Our grand daughter was too young to slide the cake maker into the proper place in the oven so the dough would rise. She didn't care because there were so many other things to make & do. The 6 1/2 yr old was able to do that by himself and was thrilled when the dough rose. The 8 second timer beeps & the ding when the 'cooked item' was ready was a nice touch & was not annoying. Apparently I did not read the description well because it did a lot more than I expected especially for the $. The only negative was that I wish it had rubber feet so it didn't slide on the table we used. Otherwise, this is a well thought out toy which will continue to provide hours of fun.

My granddaughter who is three years old loved it because she loves Play doh except the door to the oven was too hard to open. We had to keep going over and opening it for her. But otherwise she enjoyed playing with it a lot.

Gave this to my three year-old granddaughter for her birthday. She did need some help getting the little plates in the unit. They have to fit just right for it to work. But with a little help, she loved it. The Play-Doh items it creates our precious. We are pleased with it.

Bought it for a five-year-old who loves all things Play-Doh. The pieces are great and sturdy. Offers a chance to use their imagination and make some "surprises". Well-made and engineered.

Love this set! It is sturdy enough for little toddlers to play with, they will need help to cook the food, or have it rise with the playdoh maker oven. But older children can do this alone. Lots of pretend cooking activities are happening around this set. There are five molds that fit in the oven for rising dough to push through. I would recommend buying some extra dough for on hand, this set comes with 6 tiny containers of dough to get started with. You can even enjoy it with out the batteries, for more imaginative play. Highly recommend. Thank you. Just to let you know….my playdoh dates are still going well with my grandchild and he reaches for this set each visit. It is as good as new still after a year of tough playing with. One note…I find that it needs really fresh playdoh to use in the molds for rising in the oven. He still loves it and I haven’t put in batteries yet. Really great set. Thanks again!
