Tastes of zest only
The company is very professional. The product arrived within one week, much faster than anticipated. That said, I was very dispointed with the flavor of the product. Contrary to the other yuzu powders offered on Amazon, this one is cold-processed using the whole fruit and not just the zest. Since I dont care for zest so much and had a wonderful experience with a whole fruit yuzu powder from another company. I expected a sweeter and and more complex flavor, closer to the flavor profile of the fruit. The product I received tasted deep zest only.

whoa nelly it bites!
I wasn't expecting this product to be exactly what I was looking for but I sure hoped it was closer then it was. It arrived (sooner then expected so kudos on that), I ripped the shipping envelope open, I looked at the front of the pouch and compared it to the picture on this listing (its a match), I carefully opened the pouch, lightly wet the tip of my finger, dunked my finger into the powder and proceeded to lick it off....(if I didn't have a VERY strong gag reflex, I would have thrown up)β¦.For the first second, may two it had the distinct yuzu flavor but without the tart/tangy/sweetness, it was essentially the florally citrus flavor. Then after that very brief moment of goodness comes eyeball popping bitterness that bites you in the ass! In fact, this product is beyond bitter and I have rendered it useless. Yes I have tried it out several times several different ways and its still the same conclusion. So, in a nutshell, unless you like really bitter stuff, I would pass on this. Also, if you were looking for a yuzu version of true lemon....keep looking!
