I needed a guest room on short notice. I had purchased an antique quarter sawn oak bedframe, but needed slats, mattress, all the bedding a chair, lamp & suitcase stand. The walls were already painted mustard and I have a large porcelain parrot statue and a gold framed picture of two parrots. The yellow matched the walls, but I needed something soft to tie the colors together. After searching Amazon I located these pillow covers and ordered two. They were $58 each and I still needed to order 18 x 18 pillows, but the expense would be worth it IF the colors were true to the photos. Also on Amazon I ordered red sheets, a blue grey bedspread, and found an Edwardian chair on Facebook marketplace. Still waiting on a few items including the mattress so I can’t send the completed room picture, but the colors on all the Amazon items were exactly as pictured and I am thrilled!!

Well made & classic elegance

This pillow cover is beautiful and very nice quality. It is actual tapestry as opposed to a printed fabric. Care instructions say dry clean only but I hand washed in cold water with a gentle wool/cashmere shampoo, hung to dry and it did not shrink or fade at all. Would definitely recommend. (The two blue velvet pillow covers and the two oblong printed pillow covers are also from Amazon and washed perfectly as well.)
