Ok... So I have a little dog who sleeps at my feet at night! With her sleeping at my feet it would make the blanket and sheets really tight against my toes making them very sore to the point it was hard to sleep!Yes, I could have not allowed my dog on the bed but then I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the whining! The dog whining because she wasn't on the bed and me whining when she was. So I looked for a solution!And stumbled across this blanket lifter. I didn't even know they made such things!I purchased this one because it can go on the bed two different ways and it's adjustable.This holds the blankets off my toes AND my dog is a happy camper because she gets to sleep at my feet!Now, aside from my dog... When I was a child I had to wear braces on my legs that also included basically work boots and I used to always remove them after my parents would leave the room because the braces made it difficult for me to move my feet under the covers. I know that if this were available then I would have kept the braces on overnight since the lifter would have prevented the covers from getting twisted over the braces. So I will tell you that if you are dealing with someone that needs to wear braces this would be a game changer and make the person much more comfortable at night.Pros:* adjustable* stays in place (oh and I have an adjustable bed frame that I move up and down and it still stays in place)* the design allows you to get your feet under it without an issue.* well made* You can place it on the bed two different waysCons:If you have an overly thick mattress then you can only place it in one position (which I do so I am limited to only one way to place it) But honestly you don't really move it anyway.So, if you have a problem with your feet... Because of a disability, a medical issue or.... ummm.. a dog. You really should try this! I'm glad I found this.

I had surgery on my right foot. The covers would bother my foot. This item works great for keeping the covers from pressing on feet. It is extremely good because it is adjustable. Very ease to adjust.

I absolutely love this product! It keeps the heavy blankets from making my feet rotate internally and externally while sleeping on my back. It is large enough if you turn over you have enough room. It’s made of light weight but sturdy aluminum. I only wish it had one button to push on each side to make it larger and smaller, instead it has a button on each one of the legs to make it go together one side then the next. It’s a little awkward. It only has one height, not able to adjust. I would buy this again. It has served the purpose I purchased it to do

Does really good job of protecting feet after surgery from rubbing and pulling of covers when sleeping. And easy to put together. Used for 6 weeks and worth it!!

It seemed easy to put together but I had a major problem. (Top of the mattress rests 30” above the floor). I have a 10” mattress with a 10” box under it plus that sits 10” above the floor. If I put the frame base on the floor the blanket gets lifted about 2”, not good. If I put the base between box and mattress it lifts the blanket way too high. That allows air to get in and is hard to make the bed. I don’t want to take it out every morning and put it back in every evening. There is no way to use the many adjustments available to get it where I’d like it to be. Unfortunately I’ll have to return it.

Best purchase I have made for sleeping in a long time. I was having hip pain when sleeping. After buying this, hip pain went away. turns out all of the blankets on my bed were flattening my feet and pushing them in an unnatural downward position. This foot tent fixed that and no more pain!
