RUGER 1022 10/22 BASE SILVER RIFLE SCOPE MOUNT

This is not a picatinny capable rail. The slots are not wide enough. And it is not the standard length for a Ruger 10/22, approximately 3/8" longer so it doesn't fit certain models. Although, the hole patter does align.

It seems there should be two rails the picket any larger perimeter size and a smaller one on top for a smaller scale Optics. The smaller rail is not deep enough to hold any Optics, in addition the holes that are pre-drilled do not all line up with all Factory Ruger 10/22 holes. Three of the four lined up comma I found another option that will work better for me. Returning

The length is incorrect for the 10/22 receiver, hangs over the barrel about 1/2 inch. The screws are the wrong size for the 10/22 they are too small. Fortunately I had the correct screws and I cut the rail to the right length and polished the end. If I had to do it all over I would buy the correct one from Sturm Ruger.

This does just what it’s supposed to do. Easy to install and fits great.
