It's cute. Smallish but nice. I bought this set for a gift but found it was missing the rough Lapis Lazuli. Not sure what the little chest is made of but it seems sturdy enough. I think it's a nice set for a beginner. If you get all the pieces that is.

I loved the combination of raw and tumbled crystals. The only trouble I had was identifying some of the similar colored ones - but that’s because I’m still new to this! Great deal for the price. Cute little mini chest to store items in.

This is a very nice set and the price is amazing for all that you get! I got it for my son who is obsessed with rocks and gems. My only advice is the watch the clear pyramid. It is definitely made of some sort of glass and he left it on the floor and I couldn't see it and I stepped on it and it sliced my foot open. It's very sharp. I put it up and later dropped it on accident and it shattered and the pieces were so sharp. Everything else is fine. The pieces are so colorful and really it's such a bang for your buck
