Welacer Shredded Memory Foam Filling 5lbs for Bean Bag Filler, Without Added ...

Memory foam is good quality, soft, and well shredded, not a ton of hard pieces to discard, easy to work with. I poured out the bag into two large boxes, half a bag each, and let it expand overnight. Kept a smaller box to discard harder pieces as I worked. I used memory foam, polyfil, oversized mesh bags as liners, and pillow cases to make throw pillows of various sizes. (2) 18x12, (2) 18x18, (2) 20x20, (2) 26x26. Weighed them for consistency. The larger ones have a little less fill because the 20x20s were actually made from the extra filling I had left over and the 26x26 were too heavy at full capacity but still look great slightly under filled. They hold shape and fluff very well so they make for great lumbar and napping pillows. Overall, 8 custom pillows of this quality cost me about $120-$140 in supplies. I probably saved $60-80 making them myself vs store bought similar quality. Having control over the filling and pillow styles made it worth it to me, they coordinate perfectly. Very happy with how they turned out, would recommend and make again.

Got this to replace some broken down fiber fill for a dog bed. Comes vacuum packed so it’s very compressed. Filled the bed liner, then ran it in the dryer on low for about 20 mins. The foam will expand so you will see if you need to add more. Keeps my pups comfy in their bed.

It's very compact but when you break it up the amount it wonderful. It's easy to work with. After putting all that foam filler in my bean bag it very soft and comfortable. I like it

The size of this is amazing and it filled my body pillow really well, i used like 7 lbs of the filling just to get it to the thickness I wanted it but I think I'll use like 1 more pound to fill it up, overall really good! I love how soft it was and how comfy it was sleeping with this stuffing and it was really cooling during the night as well! The function of the vacuum sealed foam was great and easy to dismantle and I loved it, although it did have somewhat of an acrylic paint scent to it, but it wasn't overly bad nor was it really strong when I slept with my pillow on the first night, overall really good stuffing and I loved it lots!

I filled 6 couch throw pillows (various sizes) and it worked perfectly! We do enjoy how comfortable they have become and easy to use!

Package arrived just as expected. Nice and compact and easy to hide since this part of a Christmas present. The color was different than show above. Instead of what was in the description I did get greys, black and red. If that’s an issue for you take that into consideration. As for me, I used it for stuffing so the color didn’t matter. Packaging was easy to open. I’ve dealt with compacted items before so I knew to allow it to set for at least 24hrs. I had just received it 2 days before I needed it. Upon opening the package the smell was strong. I’m glad I opened it to allow it to air out. That alone is why it got stars taken away. Which made me glad I had opened it to allow it to air out for more than 24hrs. Other than that, it started to plump up quickly. And plumped even faster when I broke all the pieces apart. I could have used it straight away if it weren’t for the smell. 10lbs was enough for me to fill a kids grappling dummy. The stuffing was easy to use and held well in the dummy. Firm enough to be able to try out moves. But soft enough so the kids would probably sleep on it. Price point wasn’t bad. You get what you paid for.

This was purchased for my son, who has a bean bag that was looking pretty sad and deflated. It's the kind with Styrofoam "beans" so I was not sure this would work, but he put one bag in, shook it well to distribute, and pronounced it super comfortable. These expand a LOT, so his bean bag got fuller and firmer over the next 24 hours. Now it actually has enough support to hold him in a sitting position! We didn't need the second bag of filling, but we're saving it for when more of the Styrofoam eventually breaks down. Note: I suggest adding the extra filling OUTDOORS or you will be chasing traces of it around your house.

Avoid this product. There should be a way to leave less than 1-star reviews for products that are this bad. This material is pretty much the exact opposite of what the product description says. It hardly expanded at all after opening, see the photos of the stuff at 12 hours and 24 hours after putting them in boxes to expand as suggested by the seller. The picture with the two slabs in the box is after 12 hours, and the picture with one slab lying flat in the box is after 24 hours. I placed a ruler in the pictures to show just how compressed the product remained after being removed from the packaging. The small amount that did expand is still stuck together and is tacky to your touch. It can be separated by hand into loose individual pieces of foam, but if you squeeze a handful of that stuff, it clumps together and keeps the squished shape, and it does not expand back into separate pieces of foam. That’s shown in the picture of me holding the clump by my fingertips. While everything in the material appears to be foam, much of it is ribbon-thin waste that has no expansion capability at all, as if it was shaved and not cut. This stuff is totally unusable as a bean bag filler, and I don’t know what else it could possibly be used for, it’s just plain trash. I did return this for a full refund, but the seller did require that it be sent back. That wasn’t a problem at all as it fit back into the shipping box it arrived it because it didn’t expand very much at all after 24 hours.

It's not easy pulling all that apart. It's almost as if you need to pick apart every piece so it can fluff up. Otherwise it stays flat. But it's ok. There's no smell. It feels ok. It just took me a little while to get it all fluffed up and ready. If your filling a bean bag chair, get two bags. 🩷 Update; one bag did smell but I let it sit out for 24hours and it was fine after 🩷

Not what they state. It’s standard cheap memory foam bits.

We have a “poof” that I use as a footrest. After a year, it was half the size. Luckily it has built in zipper to access inside and I was able to use this to refill it. Works perfectly. Content expands significantly when you open package so let it “rise” before you start using. Super happy.

Like I said. I love the product for what it is. It's true memory foam. The package was sent in good time, but I was missing 5 lbs of my 15 lbs order.
