When just plugging it in seems too easy--how hard could it be to route a couple wires under your dash? The kit includes everything you need to do a "Permanent Wiring" install for your Wolfbox dashcam (G930). You only need to identify two fuses in the cabin fuse block--one always hot, the other switched. (It's also nice to know what they control--for example, my Ranger had several "spare" fuses that make it slightly easier.) Next you get to figure out how to route the wires. Since I installed it in the dash tray I had to run the wires to the middle of the dash (rear camera too). It only seemed impossible. A few hours later and it was all good. The nice thing is the kit includes generously long leads (I thought they were too long at first) so I was able to find a way. Once it was all in place it fired right up as soon as I plugged in the camera. Guessing the little box in the middle has something to do with sensing the battery voltage and preventing running it too low, and thinking this is probably the only part of this kit that might ever experience a problem. Still, I always unplug the camera when I park in the garage, just in case.

Excellent kit to hardwire the Wolfbox digital mirror so you don't have the power cord plugged into a power port. It came with everything I needed to tap into the fuse box with a very simple and clean addition. No cutting wires, no inline taps that cut the wires, and simple instructions. Highly recommended!

Solid item. Wish the instructions were a little better and wish it had a longer length. Customer service is awesome from wolfbox though if u have trouble installing.

Great product. Does what it is supposed to. Only problem is knowing which fuses to put it to. I had to google the fuse box list and see which ones would be able to connect to. For 2024 jeep grand Cherokee l altitude: We connected ACC to cigar lighter. And BAT to AMP red. Works great. Wish they would give instructions on how to connect the adapter to the wires as I had no clue. Had to look up a video of that as well. Took me about 1.5 hours. Would’ve took less for someone that knew what they were doing.

Makes my camera wiring clean and hidden. The cable length and fuse adapters fit perfectly. Great quality and worth it for a professional install.

自分で接続をしました。無知なのが原因かもしれませんが、説明書通り赤をアクセサリー、黄色を常時電源につなぎました。そうすると キーを回していないのにWolfBoxがたちあがってしまったので、悩んだあげく反対につなぎました。 すると一見正常に起動するようになったんですが、駐車監視モードがうごいてるようにおもえません。（設定でオンにしてます） 何かアドバイスがあればお願いします。

This hardwire kit is excellent and feels very solid. The cable length is sufficient, but I ran into three issues: 1. There’s a small control box (possibly for a chip) positioned along the cable, and it ends up too short on one side. The black part of the cable is shorter than expected, which made placement tricky. It would be much better if this box were closer to one end, so it could sit neatly near the fuse box during installation. 2. The instruction booklet doesn’t clearly explain why two fuse connections are required—one that’s always powered and one that’s only powered when the car is on. After some trial and error, I realized the ACC cable isn’t meant to power the camera directly. Instead, it signals to the camera when the car starts, allowing it to exit parking mode and begin recording. This confused me at first, and I thought something was wrong with the kit. Be sure to connect both fuse wires or the system won’t function properly. 3. I also wish the instructions had included recommendations for which fuses to tap. In my 2020 Toyota C-HR, I used the cigarette lighter fuse for ACC (only on when the car is running) and the dome light fuse for constant power. Hope this helps someone!
