What do you buy a man who loves golf and walking dead…?

There are better golf games (and zombie games) out there
Having played a LOT of golf board and card games, thought we would give this one a try. It's simple enough to play but not hugely imaginative, a slight twist on the playing card golf game anyone can play. We played it two or three times after buying it, but to be honest, I'd completely forgotten about it a year and half later until I saw it in my review feed. For what it's worth, Box of Golf (if you can pick up a second hand copy) is still the best golf game out there, with Fairways an underrated second.

Fun game. Easy to learn. Not a party game. I hate party games

Great for 2 players. I am in my 60's and wanted to find a game my son and I could play when he visited. (He is in his 30's). This game was very easy learn and didn't take up a lot of time - about 30 minutes to an hour. We had a lot of laughs and made memories. The game is in a small box, little bigger then a deck of cards, so it is easy to store. And you can play up to 6 people. Good Times.

For my friends tired of playing the same old game of pinochle, bridge, and rummy, may I submit to you this adaptation on the classic game of Golf. Certainly it is still a classic card game, and luck of the draw has a great deal to do with your outcome, but the cards seem well balanced, and when someone starts winning, enough players start to target that one person with nasty effects so as to balance it out. The key is to appear like you are losing till the last possible minute, then flip all your cards. (Easier said than done) Additionally it has the card game bias towards those who are capable of counting cards. This isn't a problem for all groups, but I suspect it will soon be for mine, now that we know the contents of the deck. Luckily, even with that advantage, there are so many things that can be done to mess you up, it's hard to plan for everything. Regardless, this was an entertainingly themed game with a nice twist on golf, its not the meat of a game night activity, but rather a much needed pallet cleanser between those crazy intense games, and for the price it will make a good addition to your party game collection.
