Our favorite!!
I’ve been a dark roast fanatic for years, trying everything from Starbucks to local roasters, but Peet’s Organic French Roast is hands down the best coffee ever. This deepest roast delivers an intensely bold flavor with pronounced smoky overtones, hints of chocolate truffle, and subtle caramel sweetness that lingers beautifully. It’s not bitter or burnt-tasting like some French roasts can be – instead, it’s complex, smooth, and full-bodied, with that pleasant “bite” that wakes you up without overwhelming. I love that it’s USDA Organic, sourced from high-altitude Latin American beans (like Guatemala and Colombia), and you can taste the quality and care in every sip. I brew it in my drip machine (or sometimes French press on weekends), black or with a splash of cream, and it’s consistently amazing – rich aroma as soon as you open the bag, and it stays fresh for weeks. If you crave a powerful, flavorful dark roast that stands up to milk/cream/sugar but shines on its own, this is it. I’ve already subscribed for regular deliveries. Peet’s nailed it!

Bold Coffee That Wakes You Up
Peet’s Major Dickason’s Blend is seriously tasty if you’re into dark, bold coffee. It’s got this rich, smoky flavor with a little bit of chocolate and spice that really wakes you up. The smell alone is enough to get you out of bed! The grind is spot-on for pretty much any brewing style you like — drip, French press, you name it. Perfect for those mornings when you need a solid, no-nonsense cup of coffee that hits the spot every time. Plus, it’s a great value for what you get. If you like your coffee strong and full-flavored without breaking the bank, this one’s a winner.

Fresh, Bold Coffee That Tastes Better Than Pods
This coffee was incredibly fresh when it arrived and definitely not stale or expired, which makes a big difference in flavor. The dark roast is bold and smooth without tasting burnt, and it’s noticeably better than coffee pods in both taste and aroma. I brew it at home and the quality really comes through in every cup. The bag size is generous and lasts a while too. I’d absolutely recommend this if you want a rich, high-quality coffee without relying on pods.

Rich, Full-Bodied Coffee That’s Worth Every Sip
I’ve been a coffee enthusiast for years, and Major Dickason’s is one of the few blends that consistently impresses. The flavor is bold and full-bodied without being bitter, making it a perfect morning pick-me-up or an afternoon treat. Pros: Rich flavor: Deep, complex notes that are not overpowering. Great for those who love a strong, traditional coffee. Versatile: Works well with drip coffee makers, French press, and even espresso-style brewing. Aromatic: Freshly ground, it fills the kitchen with a wonderful coffee aroma. Consistent quality: Every batch tastes reliably good, which is important if you drink coffee daily. Cons: Not for light coffee drinkers: If you prefer a milder cup, this might be too strong. Price point: Slightly higher than standard supermarket brands, but the flavor justifies it. Tips: Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Use slightly cooler water (around 195–205°F) to avoid over-extraction, which can make it bitter. Pair with a splash of milk or almond milk if you like a creamier taste, though it’s excellent black. Overall, Major Dickason’s Coffee Ground is a dependable, flavorful choice for anyone who enjoys a rich, bold cup. It’s become my go-to, and I highly recommend it.

Use a French press to leave the essential oils in it that make a fine brewed cup of J
Its a great product and what you get for the dollar is far more than most other brands. Its a very clean coffee. If you make it in a French press, its top notch! It has a rich flavor, and its not acidic like cheaper brands.

Great coffee, great value
My favorite ground coffee. Smooth, wonderful aroma and taste. and real value in this size. For years I used Chock-Full-of Nuts, a medium roast, and finally discovered the better aroma and taste of a good dark roast. But as I drink only one cup a day, for greater freshness iI've gone back buying smaller (12 oz) bags at my local grocery

Excellent flavor and great value for the money
I've been on a coffee kick lately and I've been trying out a variety of different coffees. I'm a fan of dark roast coffees and I keep coming back to this one. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about this roast that has a nice body and real presence to it. I don't mind paying more for quality, but I expect to get what I pay for and some other brands really fall short considering their price. On the other hand, Peet's Organic French Roast really delivers on flavor and value for the money. In fact, I actually like it quite a bit more than higher priced coffees that I've tried. I guess that's why I keep coming back to it. Four tablespoons and 16 ounces of water is a quick and easy mix and I'm good for a couple of hours. Great stuff!

Great cup of Coffee..
I use to use a popular coffee and there would always be coffee left over in the morning , one cup was enough . I recently went to visit my son in another state and this is the coffee they would drink. My first taste it was delicious, I actually had to have another cup, it smelled so good when making it. As soon as I got back from my trip I ordered a bag. My husband and I would drink the whole pot. He agreed it’s better to pay more and get better quality . Now PEETS Coffee is the only coffee we have now .

I tried Peet's coffee in the US last year and really enjoyed it. it is smooth and slightly sweet but not too strong tasting, great for any time of day.

This product with nearing expiring date. The coffee dripped from coffee powder tasted bitter and lost its original aroma. Furthermore it is not allowed to refund.

Me enviaron otro producto diferente. Yo pedí el orgánico con bolsa verde. Me mandaron uno inorgánico con bolsa negra. De cualquier manera está bueno el café, pero no es lo que esperaba.

I intended to buy a different roast of this, which I had tried at a friend's house but got this instead. It was good but not as intense as I would have liked it to be.
