Vasari Plaster Mineral Sealer (5 Gallon)

This is a nice product, but you need to combine it with a color options, and layer it for best outcome. It give a nice Tadelakt lime plaster finish for walls & ceiling. The finish effect take a little extra work, and layering, which I knew ahead of using this, but it's worth the time to get the final finish.

I put it over lime paint in my bathroom to get "concrete" look, now the wall still has that nice to the touch natural matte /velour texture but it's totally waterproof!! invisible, no shine at all, no change of color ,(I even had doubts it's there)- but the water drops just roll off now as it would be clear coated. Also great usage/coverage, I barely used any after 2 coats. Used in "wet" zones too, it's bulletproof. Awesome choice for certain projects

Great product for sealing all the hard work you did to install plaster walls. Nice sheen, does not distort color much.

Do not use on dark plaster! Will put a very obvious, very visible white glaze over the whole surface. No way to apply it lightly enough to avoid. If this happens to you - company suggested that I wipe off the "excess" (a light single coat) with mineral spirits. This helped, but the bathroom stunk for weeks, and the white glaze was not fully removed. Very disappointing after many hours and dollars on making the walls a nice color (I used "dark of night" marimo plaster color)

I used Vasari Mineral Primer, Oxford Tan Lime Paint, and Mineral Sealer to finish my kitchen range surround and I am loving the result! The product is so easy to work with and it’s impossible to screw it up. I was even able to use the it to fill in uneven areas. It was applied on a drywall/wood structure (“before” pic). You would never know. Victor, at Vasari, was very helpful in explaining the application and helping me pick the color. What sold me is that you can even use this product outdoors and in showers, so it should hold up well in my kitchen.

Use the product to seal a lime washed walls in the bathroom. When I was cleaning, I got a drip of cleaner on the wall and it cleaned dried up and did not stain. The sealer works really well.

I watched so many tutorials in preparation to limewash. This product is much thicker than most and spread on the wall at all like any other videos I watched. Once I watered it down quite a bit it was better. If going on drywall you want to be really religious about using the primer or else you will be able to wipe this off your wall with just a moist washcloth. The sealer left a white film and goes on very bubbly. The finish is very gritty and feels like sandpaper.

This sealer is perfect for my plaster backsplash. Easy to apply, I can easily wipe my backsplash now.
