GLORIOUS Gaming Model I Wired Gaming Mouse - 69g Superlight, 2 Swappable Buttons, RGB, PTFE Feet, 9 Programmable Buttons, Side Thumb Rest - Black

I am reviewing the Glorious Model I for Minecraft PVP and bridging. Starting off the shape the shape of the Model I is a right-handed ergonomic shaped mouse. (Ergonomic means a mouse has a shape that’s only meant to be used with your right/left hand). It feels very comfortable for palm grip so if you butterfly click with palm grip you will probably like the shape of this mouse. The model I has 4 side buttons only on the left side so if you want to hotkey with them this mouse can do that, you can also remove these side buttons if you don’t like them. The Model I is comfortable for claw grip and is a good shape for that grip as well for fingertip grip in my opinion. I don’t think the shape is as safe as something like the Logitech G Pro X Superlight because the superlight is an ambidextrous shape (a shape that can be used with both of your hands). The build quality is good on my copy, no creaking/flexing at all and when you shake the mouse you can’t hear a thing. The only bad thing with the build quality of the Model I, is that there is a bit of side play on the left and right click but not enough for you to notice it when you’re playing. The clicks of the mouse are pretty light but not nearly as good as the Logitech G Pro X Superlight’s clicks. The mouse is good for jitter and awesome for butterfly clicking and it can easily fit two fingers on the mouse if you have medium sized hands. The Model I also has software where you can change the debounce time all the way to 0ms making it able to double click and drag click. The surface for the mouse is pretty good for drag clicking but if it wears off, grip tape, electrical tape or masking tape (which ever one you prefer) can help. The CPS (clicks per second) I can get with this mouse while jitter clicking is 13-16 with butterfly clicking is 14-20 and with drag 40-70. The Model I is also good for Minecraft bridging due to it being able to both stay in place and move around really well with its feet. The Model I’s glide is good on my mouse pad but if you don’t like them you could buy other mouse feet. The model I’s scroll wheel feels really good and satisfying to scroll on and the side buttons also feel good as well. For Minecraft telly bridging (jumping off the edge and spamming blocks) it is great in my opinion and use. For PVP the mouse feels very good and because of the 69-gram weight it is very easy to aim with and fun to PVP. The mouse is wired and if you don’t really like wired mice as much, you can also get the model I 2 which is wireless. Overall, the model I is a good mouse and can be the endgame mouse for a lot of people. The $60 price tag (it’s $60 where I live) is justifiable it in my opinion especially because some other mice that are just as good and sometimes worse are priced higher then the model I.

This is honestly a genuinely amazing mouse for the 20$ price point I bought it for on Prime Day 2025. I am using this mouse mainly for Minecraft BedWars and other 1.8.9 PvP methods, but most of this review should apply to all users. Pros: -Has very light and responsive clicks with no post/pre travel and feels very premium - The shape is right handed ergonomic, which means it doesn’t work on your left hand, BUT it’s a very comfortable and rests in your hand very well -Built for larger hands, could work for smaller ones (not sure if that’s good or not) -Very high quality and intuitive software, no shady downloads or poor translations (this is a Glorious product after all) -Has adjustable debounce time (click interval) to fix double clicking issues (though as a BedWars player I want double clicking) -A bunch of programmable side buttons that don’t actually get in the way -Can drag click very well with and without tape, but the coating can wear off. -Pretty good sensor for what I can see so far, absolutely no problems with tracking or anything, very sensitive -Good, customizable and vibrant RGB lights (I don’t care much for them, but it works well) -Gets easily around 20 clicks per second when butterfly clicking on 0 debounce time Cons: -Wired, could be wireless but has a very high quality, dragless long cable -Has lots of double clicking (easily fixable through adjusting the debounce time) -Shape is not very optimized for butterfly clicking, but is compensated by the high CPS possible -Can’t really jitter click very well (maybe I’m bad at it) Overall the best mouse if you want high CPS and good quality/value under 30$. If you want a good mouse, especially for high CPS, buy this!

UPDATE: I would like to say how good the support at Glorious is. They are responsive, understanding, and helpful. Not every brand can say that, but I appreciate how much they care about their end user. I've tried multiple Glorious mice in the past, both wired and wireless. In the past, connectivity between the mouse and dongle has been an issue. That persists currently, and I had to move my dongle to the front of my PC instead of on the I/O. The battery lasts two to three days whether I turn it off, leave it on. There doesn't seem to be a sleep feature or battery saver when the PC is off. Which brings me to the software/firmware. It is very lackluster and not as easy to navigate as something comparative like Logitech. It's better than Corsair or Razer in my opinion, but far from the best. As for the actual performance of the mouse when it is connected and does have a charge, it does well. It's snappy, the DPI is able to be honed in to your preference, and the buttons feel good to click. It's ultra light, and every button on the mouse is within reach without having to contort my hand. Ultimately, if you don't mind a dongle smack dab on the front of your PC and are willing to charge it overnight or once every couple of days, it's a solid product. I just can't rate it higher for those reasons.

This is a really good mouse. I have been daily driving it and using it as my main mouse for quite a bit now. I really love the extra side buttons, they're very useful in games. I also like how light it is compared to other mice with more side buttons. I have mapped the two extra side buttons in Glorious Core to scroll lock and pause for games, since those buttons don't really do anything outside of games in a majority of cases. When used wirelessly, I have the rgb set to 10%, and the battery life isn't that bad with the rgb still being pretty clearly visible with the lights on in the room. My only complaint has to do with the swappable buttons. Specifically, the thumb/sniper button. For one of the swappable buttons, the reversed one where the bump is closer to your finger, it wiggles. A lot. It is very noticeable when you press it quickly after pressing another side button. You can feel the wiggle. However, it isn't enough wiggle for it to fall off. But it is definitely noticeable and can throw you off. This is the only reason why it is 4 stars, otherwise I think this is a 5 star worthy mouse in my opinion. Maybe the i3 can improve on this aspect, and this could be the perfect mouse for my use case.

My son loves his new gaming mouse ! Works great and does what it’s supposed to do! Design is super cool and there’s no noise has excellent wireless ability and seems to be made quite well! Love it

Very disappointing lifespan. I have had this mouse for about 3 months, and it is already developing an constant issue with double clicking. This mouse is not used for 10 hours a day and not in high clicking based games. So I cant fathom why it has already started to show this kind of issue. I bought this mouse as a replacement to a Logitech mouse that had a similar issue, but that was after nearly a year and a half of use. Not sure if I have received a lemon, but it is unacceptable for an issue like double clicking to appear after 3 months of mild/medium usage, especially for a mouse made with gaming in mind. Other than the double clicking, this mouse was great. The software could use work, but the lightness and good battery life were awesome. So the issue makes it that much more disappointing.

Negatives: The software keeps launching with Windows startup even though I tell it not to. The battery life is TERRIBLE - google it. This is a charge every night mouse because its trying to be alive when your PC is off and even when you switch the mouse off. Positives: Relatively light. Good shape. 4 thumb buttons. onboard memory for profiles. Neutral: The software otherwise does the "mouse things" like every other mouse software. Would consider buying another Glorious mouse if they went to a web app version and fixed the battery life.

Love the mouse so far. I primarily use it for graphic design work (not gaming), so I'll speak to what I enjoy so far. Lightweight — I didn't realize how heavy my other mice were until I switched to this one. With this mouse, you'll feel at first like you're just moving around a plastic shell—like something's missing from the interior. It's incredibly lightweight, and after 10+ hours on the computer every day you'll feel a positive difference in your wrist. Honeycomb pattern — I was initially skeptical on the gaping holes of the honeycomb design, but it's such a non-issue. Just don't keep any drinks nearby. RGB lighting — I'm a fan! You can turn this feature off to save battery life, and it's not distracting like Razr mice. Clickability — The haptics on this thing are really solid. Clicking is satisfying, and the customizable buttons on the left can be swapped out with less intrusive shapes for people like me that don't use them often. The scroll wheel is also more tactile/less cheap than my Razr Basilisk. Value — Keep in mind I bought on Black Friday 2025, but the price is very attractive compared to a Razr mouse that's about $30+ more for the same exact specifications. Charging — Being able to charge the mouse is great. I know this is a feature most modern mice have, but my Razr Basilisk was much older and required a battery (which added to the weight). Ease of use — I mean it's a mouse. It's easy to plug into the USB port and click on the switch to activate it instantly.
