Use for mouth tape
I use this as mouth tape during sleeping and it works wonderfully. It’s great for sensitive skin, and sticky enough that it holds the entire night but doesn’t leave a residue in the morning. I highly recommend if you’re looking into mouth-taping!

Good mouth taping tape
Works well for mouth taping at night (mouth breather). Just make sure you don’t have anything greasy on your lips or where you are taking your mouth shut. It will stay on all night! More cost effective than buying tape actually designed for this purpose.

Way better than traditional mouth tape!!
This tape is AMAZING sleep mouth tape 😍 I was skeptical at first since I was used to (and really liked) the X shaped mouth tape. But this tape IS SO MUCH BETTER!!! It sticks way better, you can reposition it a few times and it stays sticky, when you pull it off it doesn't hurt or rip off skin, and best of all it's way more comfortable and softer than the X mouth tape.

Great product for sensitive skin
I use this to tape my son’s G-tube down and also the cord that I do his feeds through on his belly and it worked so much better. He has sensitive skin. And this tape has been the one that works the best but I would like to say that it doesn’t stick as good as it used to. I’m not sure why I’ve been using it for about six or seven months and I just keep buying more. It is worth it.

Nexcare vs "X" style individual tape strips
I've been using the plastic "X" style tape for over 1.5 years and switched to Nexcare 3 weeks ago. I like it so much more than the individual X tapes. I highly recommend trying out Nexcare as mouth tape while sleeping. Cost: This is a no-brainer. The plastic "X" style tape strips individual tape strips are very expensive. Nexcare is cheap *and* the roll looks like it's going to last a very long time. Ease of use: Nexcare is on a roll and can be easily torn with fingers alone. The edge of the roll is easy to find and pull up because the tape has a little bit of thickness. So, getting a piece just before sleeping is quick and easy. The plastic "X" style tape strips require some fidgeting with the paper or plastic that the strip comes on, and I almost always ended up bending a corner of it onto itself. Feel: Nexcare is soft to the point where I forget it is on my lips at all. The stiff plastic "X" style tape strips are not very comfortable and could make my lips a bit itchy at times. Reapplying: The Nexcare tape is super sticky and easy to apply and reapply -- I sip water about 2x per night. The X tapes did not stick as well after reapplying, but the Nexcare is just as good. Lip balm: I can also apply some lip balm to the corners of my mouth when needed after putting on the Nexcare tape, and only the edges of the tape lose their stickiness. When I tried that with the plastic "X" style strips, the entire tape would lose its stickiness almost immediately. Residue: Some reviews said they get a residue on their lips after taking the Nexcare off. I haven't experienced that. It's possible that some rolls have this problem and others do not. Or that it's very sensitive to heat, and that occurs after too much heat exposure. I'm only guessing, though. Customizability: Since you tear off a piece of Nexcare tape with your fingers, you can customize it to the perfect length for your lips. I only cover about an inch of my lips, so I could always breathe through the corners of my mouth while sleeping, if necessary (but this hasn't happened). The plastic "X" style strips are one size only. Trust: The companies that sell the plastic "X" style strips change all the time. I could never buy the same product twice (3+ months apart) because they would disappear, only to be replaced by another company and a different-looking product. Nexcare is made by 3M, which has been around for decades and is used in medical settings. I trust the ingredients of Nexcare much more because of that.

Doesn’t leave residue, very strong!
Really good medical tape! This is actually what I use for mouth taping while I sleep. I would say there is a bit of danger in that as the tape is very strong! If there were ever some issue with my nose being covered or congested, I would definitely have an issue. However, if you were using it for any medical purpose, this is a wonderful tape! We have used it to hold on treatments and it stays very well without leaving residue!

Perfect for gauze pads!
So comfortable and easy to get off the skin. Works really well. No itchy. No sting when pulling off. Ordered more.

Strong tape, hard on lips at removal
This tape kept my mouth closed, however, the air from the CPAP unit still ballooned out my checks and strained against the tape at times while using the tape. When I removed the tape, it was very hard on my lips, enough so that I will not try it - or any other mouth tape - again. I really wanted this to work so I could use a nasal CPAP mask instead of a full face one, but the lip pain on removal is not worth it. I gave it three stars because it should work well for other purposes, just not the one I bought it for.
