Actually works no bites!
I never write reviews but I wanted to with this spray. When I go abroad I usually get bitten everyday by insects. I am now 9 days into a trip to Thailand and no bites. Last years trip was horrendous with bites. Great product.

Easy on; Lasts Long
Got this to use while out camping and hiking. Liked that it was rated against horseflies and ticks as well as mosquitos so you get good all round protection. I opted for the aerosol as the spray was not available and have no regrets. Application is super easy and you get very good coverage. It goes on light and seems to last the rated time -- you notice quite quickly that mosquitos stop bothering you and stay away. The aerosol can is small and easily to carry. It did at one point during a hike lose its cap and begin to slowly dribble/spray insect repellent into my trouser pocket, but even then I can report that it left no skin irritation and did not stain my clothing so a good result despite my user error. For those interested the active bug repelling ingredient is Icardine 16.24% which is a newer chemical compound (not DEET) that has good efficacy against mosquitos, ticks etc. It is also safe on plastics and synthetic clothing. As a side note, and I have to thank my other half for this point, a small and portable aerosol spray like this also doubles up nicely as a self defence tool. I cannot speak for its efficacy in this role, but I imagine getting a face full of insect repellent is not the most pleasant thing and it will probably serve as a distraction while you get to safety.

Expensive but effective
Per Sliced Bread from BBC Radio 4, the active ingredient in Autan is one of the few that is proven to work against mosquitoes.

Good repellent but strong fumes
Good repellent, but noxious fumes. We had to go outside to spray it and even then it was awful. We all got a few bites, but couldve been a lot worse without it.

Mosquito repellent
It did the job I didn't get bitten by a mosquito whilst in Ghana for 3 weeks
