Behringer Multicore Cable - 8-way XLR Male to XLR Female - 8 Channel Snake Cable - 3 m / 10 ft - Gold Performance - GMX-300

I have tested this Behringer multicore cable and it works as it should. Honestly it's a great product for any live sound/recording engineer, especially on a budget. You really can't beat the quality for the price. Using this in conjunction with my interface means I can have the multicore plugged in permanently in my rack unit which saves wear and tear on the xlr connections. Happy days, well done Behringer!

The Behringer GMX-300 is a very practical and well-built cable for live sound, rehearsal rooms, or compact stage setups. At 3 meters, it’s ideal for keeping things tidy between racks, stage boxes, mixers, or split systems without excess cable clutter. Build quality is good overall. The outer jacket feels durable, the cable is flexible enough to route easily, and the XLR connectors seat firmly with no play. Signal integrity has been solid so far, with no noise or dropouts across all channels, even in environments with plenty of other gear and power running nearby. The main limitation is the length. For some stage or FOH applications, 3 meters can be a bit short, so it’s clearly aimed more at rack-to-rack or nearby connections rather than long runs. Also, while the cable feels robust, it’s not what I’d call “tour-abuse proof” compared to higher-end multicore looms, so some care during transport is advised. All in all, it’s a dependable, clean, and well-priced multicore that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great for compact setups, rehearsals, and organized stage wiring, just be mindful of the length and handle it with reasonable care.
