FOCALLURE Velvet-hazy Matte Cheek Lip Mud Dual-use For Lips And Cheek Lip Clay High Pigment Lipstick Blush Lasting Lip Tint

This review is for shade D10. (I purchased two shades, but the review interface doesn't show which shade I'm reviewing. Please fix that, Amazon.) This matte mud has become my go-to red blush. And make no mistake, it's red. The photo might lead you to think that it's kind of a purpley mauve, but nope. Red. Yay! The consistency is very nice; I find myself wanting to play with the mud because of its appealing texture, but so far I've resisted the urge. It goes on very easily and smoothly and isn't drying at all. In fact, it lets some of my skin's natural glow shine through, but it's still nice and matte. I "underpaint" for blush, bronzer, and contour, so I apply it directly onto skin with just a layer of primer under it. (The skin tint goes over top of the underpainting layer so the shadows and tones of that layer look much more natural than they'd look if they went over top of a layer of foundation.) I use a brief mist of setting spray before adding the skin tint to maximize the longevity of my blush, bronzer, and contour. That means I'm not sure of the longevity of the product by itself, but using these techniques, it lasts all day. And you really can't beat the price!

This stuff is very pigmented. You only need a tiny bit to color your cheeks or lips! Go in with a very light hand! A little drying on the lips, but nice on the cheeks! I really got it for my lips but had it known it works better for cheeks, I would have chosen a different color.

great for travel, it's easy to apply on face and use as a soft blur lip color. it lasts all day with primer and is soft, not sticky.

Such a beautiful lipstick! The hue is perfect for daily wear and feels great thanks to its smooth, mud-like texture. It glides on like a dream and makes my lips look healthy. Too bad it’s not long-wearing; the color fades fast and needs frequent touch-ups.

A nice velvety lip mousse. Very similar to the fwee pudding pots, if you're looking for a cheaper alternative. They're a matte, clay like texture that's not too dry. I wish the color range was a little more expansive but that's the only negative about it.
