My husband has a big dome (size 8) and yes, it was a touch loose, but I did contact the seller in regard to shipping and asked about this as sizing was a common feedback item on this; the seller provided some foam inserts to put inside the rim of the hat and it fits my husband great! This hat looks best when its not squeezed on the head anyways. A must buy! Seller contacted me ahead of time to ensure I would get this by when I needed it, it was a day late but its ok, I needed it by the 31st, arrived on 28th. Great fit!

This is my first hat from hats in the belfry and I'm impressed! It's way better than some of the "costume" quality hats I've purchased on amazon. The price is great and reasonable and the quality and craftsmanship is on point! The first day I wore it, it snowed and the hat did its job keeping the snow off me, it collected some snow on the brim but dried quality with no spots! The fit is good. I have a larger head and teeter around a size 8 fitted hat, XXL seems like it's right around that size. The hat comes with size reducer bands just in case bit I didn't need them. Overall very happy with hat's in the belfry

My husband had a little bigger head and this fit him great he can’t wear snap backs his heads to big for them he has to get fitted hats and this one fit him wonderfully!!!

My husband has worn Irish tweed caps for years, and expressed an interest in trying a new kind of hat. I gave him this for Christmas, and it looks great. He's received compliments on it and people asking him where to buy it. Price is reasonable compared with some brands while still being good quality. The only complaint I have, which others also have had, is that it comes in a plastic bag, not carefully wrapped in a box. It really should have some kind of presentation box, as well as a protective shipping box. Mine arrived in good shape, but you never know what might be thrown on top of it in shipping, and as mine was a gift, it was a little bit lame that it didn't come in a box. Hence the missing star. But the hat itself is very nice.

It's perfect. I read they run a little big and they do. It's nothing that I can't fix but I bought it for a parade and if it's windy, it could be an issue. On a calm day it's perfect. It came with inserts and I haven't had time to try then yet. Cool hat!

I bought one of these and they look nice and mine fit because I educated myself to what the american hat sizes are. Take note that the picture is deceptive as these are regular fedoras with a full brim that can turn down. Good luck with that...if it can turn down it can turn back up on it's own. It this had been a hat manufactured with the turned down front brim I would have given it 5 stars. Make sure you educate yourself about hat sizing before you buy!
