Good sump pump monitor
I’ve been looking for a sump pump monitor for some time and finally found one. This was easy to set up, has reliably connected to my home Wi-Fi, and has been reliable. You can set up various parameters to shut down the power, for example if the pump runs too long, or has too low of an electric load (dry running). As an example, the float on my sump pump got pinned somehow, the PumpFuse, shut off power and sent my phone an alert. Allowed me to fix the problem and prevented an expensive pump burnout.

excellent sump pump tool
this is a wonderful device. it allows me to monitor my sump pump with excellent notifications and worst case, i can shut it down if i need to (which i did b/c the float was stuck once). setup was a breeze. Just plugged it in and connected to the app. after that, i had to mess with all the settings, which have taken me a few months, but that should be normal as everyone has different ground conditions. best part was i able to turn off the sump entirely when it was running for too long (which the app told me). i came home and found the float was stuck. this prompted me to test the sump/float every three months to make sure it is working all the time. only thing i wish is it would integrate with homekit as a sensor so i could see it within my home app (or as a Matter device). fingers crossed this will be a new feature.

Great for Septic Pumps
OK - You're gon’a want’a read this. I use this monitor to track our septic system discharge. This little device is fantastic and contacting their customer service got a response in minutes. We have a septic tank that pumps up and out to the leach field. The other day I flipped the wrong breaker and incorrectly shut off the septic pump. I didn’t catch it until the high water level alarm in our tank tripped. (Well OK, I actually never did catch it - the alarm did.) I realized then that I had no way of easily knowing when the septic pump ran, how many times it pumped out, how long it ran, anything. I only knew when the tank was full and then you need to scramble to fix the issue before a sewer disaster. So could I use PumpFuse to log my septic pump? YES! Problem - Our septic pump was 220VAC and Amazon specs said PumpFuse was a 125VAC device. But checking the PumpFuse website under specs said the monitor was rated 110/250VAC. So I emailed the company. Paul at PumpFuse responded - The PumpFuse device comes with a 120V plug by default. The internal circuit was tested on single phase 220V. You will need to ask your electrician to cut off the 120V plug and replace it with 220V single phase plug or use some sort of adapter or direct wire connection. Great - just what I was hoping. I ordered it. I wired it up using two adapters, plugged it in, and bingo; there was the green pair light. Connected it to our Wi-Fi and it updated its firmware. Total install time, including wiring in the adapters and connecting it to my Wi-Fi - less than 20 minutes. I can now track my septic system pumping by week, month, and year. It logs when it pumped, how long it ran, even the load drawn. This little device even has settable protection limits to shut off the pump when PumpFuse senses an unusual load but I didn't activate that function. Last night my septic pump ran at 2:27am for 13min 12sec and drew 857watts. I've only had it connected for a day so the long term reliability is unknown but for right now - Love it, Love it, Love it. So this is little thing is not just a sump pump monitor. It can also be used for septic systems and is rated for 220VAC. Thank you PumpFuse.

PumpFuse works - worth the money for peace of mind
I need to know when my pump is running, for how long, and the frequency it turns on. The pump is the weak link in the whole septic process and its failure could mean disaster. The thought of its failure kept me up at night while out of town. This device's app provides notification of when the pump turns on/off, time it operates, power usage, long term frequency of operation and more. You can also set notifications for abnormal pumping behaviors. The app was easy to connect to the device and its been running great for over a week. I wish I had known about it long before. It works fine for my application. There are instruction videos on YouTube on how to navigate the app. Much of the app functions are relatively intuitive. There are no hard copy users' manuals. Just understand that it wouldn't work unless you have wifi/router in your home.

PumpFuse is the Sump Pump Monitoring King!
I purchased the PumpFuse WiFi Sump Pump monitor in September 2025 and have been using it for a few months. I am genuinely impressed with the unit because of the level of information the application provides on the activity of my sump pump. Originally, I was using a Kasa smart switch, but I became concerned about the safety of that switch due to the frequency of the on/off switching of my pump as well as the high power draw each time it cycles. The PumpFuse switch has been performing flawlessly, and my stress level is under control because the PumpFuse has an excellent array of notifications in the event trouble is encountered. I'm also impressed by the development engineering expertise with regard to the App. The user interface is well designed, easy to use and has a mind-blowing set of features and controls. Great job PumpFuse team!

Great for basement pumps!
I cannot say enough good things about this. I bought because I found my basement sump pump had been running nonstop due to a float switch problem. This product says it will protect the pump, shutting it off if that issue occurs. I can’t confirm that yet, but I can say this provides an INCREDIBLE amount of information about the pump. I was so impressed I bought a second one for my basement sewage ejector pump. I highly recommend pumpfuse.

This is a great product. I depend heavily on my sump pump & have had the misfortune of a completely flooded basement due to power outage. This device works perfectly. I get notifications at will. The graphics, comparative data, ability to set notifications etc. meets all my needs. I can readily determine whether my sump pump is functioning, frequency of use, how long it stayed on for each time it is activated, determine whether it has burnt out. During Spring thaw when pump is frequently functioning you can easily spot a power failure, or pump malfunction based on push notifications and real time data analysis. I would have sufficient time to replace my sump pump if it fails given this device. Very pleased with product. I sleep better at night when I am away. Highly recommend. I am considering adding this device to other equipment.

Great peace of mind. I have it set to automatically cut off the water pump after 30 seconds.

I’ve worked with many I.T. related devices for over 30 years. I can say that this device is one of the best engineered products I’ve ever used. Most importantly, the functionality of the app and the device itself are not lacking for anything and are well thought out for every sump pump monitoring situation. And from my research, it’s also the only product of its kind on the market. It’s easy and straight forward to setup. Plug it in; download the app, connect to your WiFi, hit firmware update when prompted, set your preferred alarms in the app settings with a few taps…and that’s it! All this took less than 5 minutes! The manufacturer also has excellent support via email if needed. I contacted the company to check on a few of the network specifications (as I do with all devices that I put on my network). I received clear and well explained answers in less than 5 hours! There are 1 or 2 reviews that feel its limited connection to only 2.4GHZ WiFi is a negative. It’s NOT. It’s designed that way purposely because 2.4GHZ is the most reliable WiFi signal over long distances that may have many obstructions (as opposed to 5GHZ). It’s a well thought out positive. It only needs a minuscule bit off bandwidth and it does not need 5GHZ. Obviously, you’re not streaming movies on this device! All routers are dual band regardless so there is no issue either way. In addition, support confirmed via email that the unit communicates with servers in the USA which is important (although most people are unaware about the concerns of I.O.T. devices outside the US). As far as I.O.T. devices, it’s as secure as it gets. The only recommendation that I have, is to connect the device to a “guest WiFi” if you have the option but it’s not critical. Any 2.4GHZ WiFi option on your router is fine. I’ve used the device for a few weeks now and thoroughly tested almost all of it’s functionality. It does exactly what exactly what the manufacturer says it will do without any issues of any kind. It offers peace of mind that your sump pump is operating and stores the data to show you how well it’s operating amongst other details. I can honestly say, EVERY HOME that has a sump pump should have one of these devices. I even think all insurance companies should know about this product and inform home owners about how to get one. So that’s my review and my advice is…don’t hesitate, buy one now and enjoy the peace of mind! It’s worth every penny!

Its not often you get a product that does everything it claims, this one does and does it well. Robust little package, easy installation and timely notifications of any problem. User can select to get as involved in their sump pumps day to day activities as they care to. Information is displayed in the app in an easily digestible way and gives you a good idea of pump condition/performance. Excellent value for money. That being said, I'll update this review if it all goes terribly wrong.....hehehe, but so far so good.

Been using this pump monitor for 2 years now. It still works solid and bug free. It saved me a lot of headaches the past years. First it tells you when it loses wifi, meaning probably a power shutdown so you can go check your sump pump. It also triggered failures when my float gave up and it saved the pump! Best purchase for a peace of mind along with battery operated pumps in case pf power outage!
