Easy enough to put together. One of the dowels (for stabilization) didn't line up so I've got 3 out of 4 dowels in there and I feel like it's pretty sturdy. Doesn't take up too much space either.The important part is that my cat... LOVES THIS! He's really picky and usually prefers couch/bed to anything else but took to it immediately, we've had it set up for a little over 24 hours now and he's been in it more often than not. Like... He came out of it to eat. But that's it. He slept so soundly in it last night that I had to wake him up for breakfast. He loves this. My boyfriend was skeptical given how picky he is but I have been proven right which is even sweeter. He's so cute in it, and he's a big, 18lb boy and it's definitely big enough for him to be comfy. Recommend!!

Pretty easy to put together. I would give it five stars for sturdiness except for the fact that it is truly hammock-like in how it moves, which might deter some cats. I have two and one likes it but one won’t go near it! He took a little while to get used to it but now regularly naps (and yawns) in it. Very pleased with this cute kitty furniture — but be aware that your cat is just as likely to hate it as they are to like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It works! Of my 2 cats, at least 1 of them uses it. It holds up under their weight. I will say it was a little confusing putting it together because the instructions were just a tiny piece of paper with 0 words on it, so like Ikea furniture but somehow worse. Picking it up it feels flimsy as well but despite that it holds up great with cats laying on it.Anytime a cat is into something it must be worth a buy so I recommend this.

Looks great in pictures and send like a decent size for cats too have extra space and enjoy the hammock. Pictures are not the case. Our cat is only 8 pounds, pretty petite, but doesn't have free space in the hammock as shown in the pictures. And anti sway is absolutely not true. It sways like crazy to where it cat isn't even interested. The box came looking like it's been opened and taped back with Scotch tape, bag, open, one screw in hook piece needed missing... I do know believe I got a new, unused hammock for my cat. Someone probably returned it since it's junk and they resold it. I'm actually really disappointed. I would look for better products that actually don't sway. The nearly 40 dollars for this hammock is a huge waste of money and time.

I was not planning on reviewing this product do to my opinion of this mediocre cat "hammock". It came quickly and the packaging was well done. It was easy to assemble and included all needed tools.Cons?Poor price to quality, meaning that I would not consider this a good value. Although this item is made mostly of wood. The quality of that wood is so poor I have a hard time believing it is not fake. The "hammock" does not hang and the overall design was clearly from someone that never intended it to be used. Though my cats general do not know better, I do have to look at their furniture. and when something of this low a quality is placed in my house it stands out, and looks bad. I am neither austere or lavish in my home decor. I would say my furnishing are medium to high end "Ikea". I have not seen my cats use this. Given they have access to cat furniture from Catit (a premium brand), I do not expect my cats to use this at all. It will remain in my house for a few more months. Then it will most likely go out with the rest of my recycling.

This hammock is so cute, we took 15 minutes to assemble it and the SECOND we finished, (we didn't even have time to stand up and move it to the cats table by the window), my cat, Opal jumped off my couch and ran over there and just stepped in and laid down with no hesitation. After her nap we moved it to the table and Sunny joined her. They love it and its so cute, it's made well, The only confusing part was the strings but we just played with then until we found how we liked it. All in all it only took 15-20 minutes to assemble and it came with everything we needed (including the screw driver). 100% happy cat mom and would buy again.

The package was delivered with the box already opened. I picked it up as it was delivered so am certain it was delivered that way. Seems like I got a package someone else returned after failed attempt at putting together poorly made product as there were many scratch marks where someone clearly tried to put it together and failed. The base of the hammock comes in 5 pieces plus hardware. The pieces should fit together like Tetris; instead I really had to force everything together. When I finally accomplished that and moved on to putting in hook screws where hammock attaches one of the screws snapped right in half with half of it in the base so I can't even take it out to put in another screw so the whole thing's worthless now! If you get one without all these flaws it does look nice. :(

I thought I'd take a chance with this hammock for my cats. In general they are not into laying on things that are just for their use.It was fairly easy to put together once I got my husband involved as I have a bit of arthritis in my dominant hand and needed some help.Both cats (after a bit of catnip was shaken on the bed) tried it and both love it. They now have options between the window sill bed we have and the hammock without swishing themselves too much. They are both big girls and try to share but must snuggle closely together to be able to share either one of the options..The bottom line is that the hammock is well made and used by both cats and I am well pleased with his product.
