It's great quality, still good several months since buying it. Self heals well. Useful markings and guidelines. I've had other mats like this which are cheaper but haven't healed so well and others much more expensive that are smoother healing but in terms of cost-quality this is excellent quality and value and when it eventually needs replacing ( they all do at some point) I'll be ordering another.

Im a beginner at quilting and a bit heavy handed but you'd never know with this mat. It heals beautifully.
