I do like the look and feel of this journal. I like the paper thickness , which is why I bought it. I didn’t want the ink to bleed through and it doesn’t which is great, although I find that it is difficult to write on with a fountain pen. I did not smell anything. I believe the leather quality is good and will last. I believe it would make a thoughtful gift. Yes I would buy again.

I love this journal. Its is everything it says it is. The craftsmanship is beautiful. Im enjoying writing on the antique pages. All i need it that antique feather pin.

I like the book. I gave it 4 stars because they they didn't use the same color binding string. on the image it matches the tone with that yellow look. My book was straight white strings. I'm hoping will color overtime but as of not it looks like it was rushed. The paper is good quality and I would buy again know what I have now.

This journal is just what I was looking for! I wanted an old looking, hand-crafted one to copy my daily scriptures into. I love the look and feel of old books. Since I can't afford an authentic, antique journal, this one made do quite nicely. The pages are sturdy enough for a gel pen, and the cord wraps around to hold it closed.

Purchased as a gift for someone else. Arrived and looked exactly as described. Person was very happy with the gift. Seem to be good value for the money. Would recommend especially if a Harry Potter fan
