I’ve used the magnetic dimmable drivers, and another high end offering that was supposed to cure flickering to no avail, all problematic. This thing so far is great! Good control and light output quality, have not had a single flickering issue. This is what I will buy from now on, I’m a contractor and often do built in LED stuff in kitchens, bathrooms, etc. for indirect lighting. In fact I will probably go back through a couple of my projects that have flickering issues and install one of these instead. Definitely 5 stars, good price, and compatible with Lutron Maestro dimmers.

What else is there to say? This was super easy to wire up and does a great job of smoothly dimming the LED strips integrated into my cabinets. Paired with a Lutron Diva dimmer it worked flawlessly

Easy to wire and use, produces a little bit hum once in awhile when using with a dimmer. Used it in our bathroom for toe kick lighting with COB strips, been using it for 6 months now. Will update if I have any other issues.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (50W units; three stars): Bought three of these (50W) for a hallway cove lighting installation after the magnetic driver (MLV) produced bad stroboscopic effect (poor light quality), would not allow the LEDs to reach full brightness, and incompatibility with dimmer switches. These ELV transformers have a noticeable lag to brighten/dim when the dimmer switch is adjusted. (Some may like that behavior, since many switches have that kind of lag built-in as a "feature".) Wiring terminals (blocks) are OK, but seem a bit flimsy in terms of their attachment to the PCB. This was noticeable to me when screwing down the terminal lugs (block seemed to rotate slightly relative to the PCB at normal torque needed to secure the wire properly). The clamp-downs on the wire leading to the terminals are so-so as well. Regarding wire size, I was able to use 12 AWG stranded wire on the low voltage side to feed each LED strip which were some feet away from the transformers mounted in a closet. For simplicity/clean install, the male plug-in wiring could be replaced and made into a hardwired installation to simplify build-out (no outlet/receptacle needed). My main complaint is that the dimming level is not as deep (low) as an MLV or what another ELV transformer might be able to produce. The Amazon listing says this transformer can dim "0-100%" but that's false based on my eye and experience. The strip would dim to a certain point, then turn off without reaching the lowest possible illumination. The MLV transformer I had did, but these don't. I also note there was a sticker on each units that says load range is 5-100%. It's nice to be able to have full range on lumens, and these transformers don't quite live up to their potential. The other consideration is that when using multiple ELVs and dimming on the line-side (not 0-10 dimming), the number of units in each LED strip must be nearly identical, or the strips will dim unevenly, and will be very noticeable at low dim level. For my installation, one of the three strips had to have one more unit (4"), and at the lowest dim, the strip can turn off completely while the other two remain lit. This is not due to the ELV transformers, but rather the result of system design. I'm going to swap these out and try their 150W ELV and see if it reaches a lower dim level. UPDATED (150W unit; four stars): I swapped out the three 50W units given the above issues, and the system works well now with uniform dimming across all three LED strips, and dims effectively down low to my desired light output (pretty darn low). Oddly, the brightness isn't quite as bright at full power compared to the 50W units (minus 1 star), but there's plenty of lumens to be the hallway's primary light source. The driver gets pretty warm at full brightness (load of about 113W). I installed Solid Apollo dim to warm strip in the cove (SA-LS-DTW-2216-600-24V), and for a 3' wide by 17' hallway, the lumen output (approximately 10,000 lumens) along the perimeter is plenty for general lighting, including into the closet. Total length of installed LED strip was about 37'. I also used a rotary dimmer (Lutron Maestro), which plays nicely with this system so far even though their tech support disclaimed it is supposed to work with ELV transformers (bogus assertion, since many off the shelf LED bulbs have an integrated ELV transformer to step down line voltage from 110V to 12V or 24V).

Works great! I use this for LED under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. I am using them with TP-Link Kasa Wi-Fi dimmer switches which control outlets mounted in the upper cabinets, then plug in this power supply. I found that 24v vs 12v gives you better dimmer control.

I have these connected to a Lutron Caseta switches to control bar lighting and also a step lighting. They function great, dimming works at all levels without flickering. They seem built HD and have some weight to them. I'm way undercoating it so I'm hoping they will last a l long time.

This dims with no noticable flicker. I took some slow mo videos with my phone and there is no hint of flicker at any dimness level. I'm running it well under the power rating, but it behaved well under full load. It did cut out on a full led line, but that was over its power rating and it recovered with no drama. I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, but aside from that, it's as good as I could hope.
